We haven't had a formal contest for awhile. I was wondering if the devs would be open to having a map design contest in which the community is tasked witha piece of Arkohna, given a bunch of assets and then whoever comes up with the best arrangement wins... By having their design in the game.

Perhaps it could have multiple stages where the first place winner gets the general outline, the second place winner places large objects and the third place winner decorates.

Thoughts?

Edit: There's obviously the other option where everybody wins by designing the map together and isnt approved unless 3/4s of the founders agree that it would be fun to play.

I think it's a wonderful idea, level design is a very fun thing. The question is, would we be provided with their map making software? Or would it be something like sending in concept sketches?

Oh boy, don't get me started on making maps with the software! I would enjoy that more than anything.
