    Well..its 1930ish...and Russia pretty much sucks considering it didn't went with the Revolution.I cant imagine what kind of a clusterfuck it is or in what shape Major kept it alive.I can only imagine its pathetic industrial output.

    Actually...something tells me I don't want to know. :D

    If I have to play a filthy imperialist that tries to hold-onto a colonial era,I might as well go all out!

    Sorry for the delay...the British somewhat byzanthine political system left me somewhat shell-shocked from last night.Without further delay at GM`s discretion I present my sheet:

    State: British Empire and the Commonwealth, The empire on which sun never sets;
    Character: His Majesty
    George V, King of the United Kingdom and British Dominions and Emperor of India.
    Royal retainers:

    -John Maynard Keynes, economicist of the King`s College, Cambridge (Field of study : macroeconomics, probability);
    -Eric Drummond, the 7th Earl of Perth and Secretary-General of League of Nations;
    -Ramsay MacDonald, First Lord and Lord Commissioner of Second MacDonald Ministry of State and Trade of the British Empire.
    -John Tilley, Knight of the Royal Victorian Order, Privy-Chancellor, former second secretary in Paris, former ambassador to Brazil, Egypt and Turkey and current Ambassador of His Majesty`s Envoy in Empire of Japan.

    A question if I may:

    Who holds seats in the Papacy Council?

  3. The Papacy Council is headed by me and I will create 12 different personas who will act independent from each other. This means that you can attempt to convince all 12 of my personas or a greater majority. They will have a range of personalities and previous loyalties that will remain undisclosed but through interaction you can begin to feel if a certain persona is more likely to side with a country to begin with.

    While the Council is technically "neutral" they are inherently corrupt so there's one way to influence them. Another is that each will have a private background and depending on your retinue, you may or may not be able to discover something of value to blackmail a member with. None of them will be the same and you will have to be wise in the deployment of such information as you never know if someone else will figure it out first.

    I will release the names of the council at start to avoid giving anyone a head start but I will say some of them may very well come from a home country that a player represents giving them a common ground.

    The British have been sealed to the High Adept.

    To answer the concerns of Russia, during World War I the Workers Revolution was successfully put down by the nobility at the cost of turning into a similar totalitarian state. They have however adopted a more industrial stance and innovation and are on par with most countries but are obviously not as capable as say the United States which hands down holds the greatest industrial capacity.

    Are Romanovs still heads of state?

  5. Yes they are, but they prefer to go by the illustrious name of the Imperial House of Holstein now.

    Also if you haven't already, you should give a brief but relevant background to each of your retinue in a PM to me, this can either be a carbon copy of what their real life counterpart accomplished or it can be modified. For instance, list accomplishments your Foreign Affairs Minister was responsible for, etc.

    Do not disclose this to any other person besides me UNLESS they were within another country that a current player is actively representing so that both parties are on the same page. For instance if you had a Foreign Affairs Minister who was in the Japanese Embassy as France, you would want to post only that part here so that everyone is aware because that information would be publicly known but the accomplishments and specifics would not.

    This will help me generate more accurate cards for each player and I have decided to be generous and give each player 7 Cards to begin with. I will disclose that 2 Cards each player will have in common will be Industrial Rating and Monetary Rating. Do not fully disclose exactly what your rating is unless you want to give away how strong or weak you are globally. These may or may not be representative of the real world equivalents so do not assume that simply because you chose a very strong industrial country that you are guaranteed to have the highest rating as some events have changed the world such as Germany and Russia, and there is global unrest that will affect each country differently.

    But we are totally allowed to lie in OOC in order to attempt to manipulate our fellow players in-game? :X
  9. Correct, take nothing at face value. The whole point is to manipulate the truth in order to gain a more favorable outcome just like in real politics. There is a hint of truth in each statement but overall the more you can spin it off believably, the more likely you will come off better than before, sometimes without having wasted anything of your own.

    The only person who will know the truth is me and the individual player but the other players will be ignorant to what is believable and what is not until they can piece together enough information to predict what you can and cannot do.
