No lag, bout 55-62 fps (50 in very big fights and lots of explosions). Using amd. Max settings. Medium powered computer with a 2GB Graphics Card.
AMD Athlon II x4 645 (4x3.1GHz) HD6850 8 GB RAM win 7, 64bit OC'ing the cpu to 3.4GHz improves a litle bit, but still unplayable. OC'ing the GPU +210MHz core and + 130MHz mem didn't do significant difference.
i live in Belgium and got fiber wire..stopped playing the game to prevent severe case of throwing my rig through the window. it was fine before, around 25-40 fps on a i5-2500k overclocked to 4ghz HD 6870 in xfire. getting 13 fps to single digits and severe server lags. assembling a new rig in december(i7-4790k watercooled, gtx 980ti), i'll try again by then and post an update. devs said on twitch optimisation is not priority atm for reason, i assume they mean they waste time and resources keeping the game optimatised on each patch instead they focus on building the game and start optimising when the biggest stuff has been dealt with. if that's the case, it's only logical that they do that even though it sucks. just be patient i suppose
I would advice you not to assemble a new rig ONLY for a game in alpha/beta. It is as you say; optimization will occur at some Point, and then your present rig will do fine. The cuurent issues is not so much poor optimization but rather bugs causing fps drops. There are people with really high end rig's (980+) who still experienceing 50% fps drops as soon as other players are around, and there are aslso people with mid range pc's that have stable 50-60 fps. So just be patient
