All Pvp Or Enough Content For A Pve Player?

Hey folks, I've been lurking watching the site for some time... I'm very keen on the idea of a 40K MMO - was shattered when Dark Millenium collapsed - however, I'm pretty apprehensive to sign on for a Founders Pack as I hear the focus is on PVP...

Aside from occasional dabbling, my interest in what I consider the tedious, repetitive meat-grinder, that generally makes up PVP, is non-existent...

So, I'm quite glad the focus on PVP was made clear from the start... I was burnt pretty hard by Mech Warrior Online - I purchased the top Founders Pack expecting something akin to the older single-player games, but with real people in Coop, instead of AI team mates, doing all manner of mission types... What was delivered was World of Tanks with mechs...

So, as tempted as I am to purchase a Founders Pack for Eternal Crusade as I'd like to support it, I'm somewhat concerned I will find myself having purchased another game I will never end up playing...

The references I've read to randomly generated (what sound like) instanced areas to 'explore' has given me a glimmer of hope, but was looking for some advice as to whether or not there will be enough PVE content to keep me occupied...

Hopefully I will be sticking around a bit more, but that will honestly depend on whether or not there might be some light at the end of the tunnel on Eternal Crusade's content for PVE players... I dearly hope there is, otherwise, a very large portion of the potential player base is being overlooked...
  2. 85-90% will be PvP
so if you do not like to get in touch with other players then this game might be nothing for you

EC will have something which is called the underworld
there you will fight hordes of nids with some players (don't know if it is doable alone at all)

so I suggest to not buy the founders pack
but if you want to get the game anyway at launch then you can buy the 40$ founders pack
since the game will cost 40$ at launch as well(you just don't get the extra stuff then)

if you want to get an idea how underworld could feel then I suggest to play some rounds SM exterminatus mode and left4dead 2

welcome to he forum BTW ^^

To add onto what Sav said, it might be best for you to wait until the game launches and give the F2P portion of the game a go. You can play as the Ork faction and a few of its basic classes for free.

    I agree with DJ.

Give it go as F2P Ork before purchasing anything.

Unless you don't mind potentially losing £23.60 and you can purchase the basic warrior founder pack.

Oh, & Welcome to the forums! :)

Welcome to the forums! The actual game will be mostly PvP. I agree with the others here, don't buy anything until you try the game.;)

    Welcome follow Crusader.

As the other have stated stick around and give it a try and if you want to roll the dice on a founders pack.

The warrior pack is $40 US for the full game and you get 40k ($1=1000 store points) trader points to use in the in game store so that's a $80 value for helping the game in development the other founders packs have different perks.

PvE is to be 10%-15% of the game but its also going to be randomly made each time so not the same each time to keep you on you're toes.

I started a thread on solo PvE content here is the link.
