At this rate, I can't imagine them not "repeating" this mistake again will be a choice for them as I don't think they'll get another opportunity like this any time soon.
Well hopefully they will still pull something out of the bag with it. I enjoy EC far more than any battlefield or CoD yet they have the following of millions for some reason. Hopefully later down the line more polish will be applied and early mistakes forgotten about that it survives and continues.
Maybe not, but someone else might. GW's approach to their licensing over the past several years has been to give out little bits to anyone who wants to make a Warhammer 40k game and not give two craps about the quality of what's produced. There was a nice Extra Credits video about it fairly recently. Though... part of me wonders what kind of WH40k games we might have today if Blizzard and GW had managed to work out a deal all those years ago...
Honestly, if support for Battle Sisters continues as it has from GW, I wouldn't be terribly sad if GW crumbled in on itself and the entire 40k hobby vanished overnight. It'd be roughly the same to me as what I'd been getting from GW before.
Which with Battlefleet Gothic Armada and Space Hulk Deathwing (and Total War Warhammer) im sure it is paying off. What, you all want THQ back to controlling the franchise? That extra credits video is some 4 years outdated. (and since their HOI IV video is probably one of the most biased -and bad- ww2 videos ever i dont suggest anyone to keep watching that channel, but that is just me)
One of them was atrocious. It was a direct copy of the developer's previous game with different graphics.
