I had considered creating a thread on this subject, but I figured I had already brought up enough controversial topics as it is. To put it as plainly as possible BeHaviour....as an ork player every single cosmetic that is currently available is unappealing. The only one I think looks remotely orky & or creative is the squig armor, but again not something I see myself using. I seriously hope in the weeks to come further consideration is put into Ork cosmetics. I mean what is this? or this? Where are the boss poles, power claws, choppa, big choppa, 'Uge Hamma, Big Shoota's etc? Reskinned space marine equipment just comes off as uninspired.
And here I was going to barge in here and say... "it's a plasma cannon ffs... where do you need common sense" but I see now what you are getting at. Good post good post. And realy good points you have pointed out on those images. So yeah I have to agree that even though these are fantasy weapons some common sense would have to be taken into account.
Uhh. So, a handle on a sword isn't good enough and a blade isnt in the right spot, this is a piece of artwork depicting the actual weapon model in a 'GAME'. Every game is inaccurate with both art and in game designs, I dont see any problem. The only problem is the people who actually seek out these small things and acts as though its a big deal. Its actually kinda sad to see.
You guys really don't like the ork weapons? I think it's the coolest one and fits really well with the ork theme (although I agree the heresy bolter and the bolt pistol are kind of meh), funny that the only weapon I don't like is the Eldar knife... probably we are more critical with our own factions.
It looks very familir for some reason though, I can't seem to work out why though..... Oh that's right, it was last seen in a movie about another race of eldar. lol
Well they would be unlocked in game, because what kind of company would they be if they just offered everything with a pricetag.
Exactly, I would prefer if the follow the japanese theme and they make a straight blade similar to a tanto knife, but meh, my main class it's going to have a 2 handed sword or a spear for melee weapon so I don't care that much.
