I know this is maybe too much about customization. But really. So, after the twitch, my heart was so bright after Nathan said they are focusing on Eldar customization. What would be your ideas for us? This is example Banshees in-game (not really, but close) Banshee after possible customization .... Let me start here for example. Different helmets for Banshees, pretty easy (easier than most I think)... than maybe, adding more shiny stuff, more clothes on lower body part, adding some "misc" items, like skulls, or some otherother shiny stuff here and there, different plates on armor addable (like breast armor) on default armour and so on... in fact, I think making us feel more sexy would be in place. We need to feel the grace and to burn enemy eyes on sight.
Obligatory link to the past http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/thr...sual-customisation.18842/page-56#post-1311017 Can't lie, the fact that the Sable Helm shrine (black DA helmet) made it in blew me away and left me satisfied. That's not to say I wouldn't like more, but that is "The One" I wanted for eldar, and I got it. I like the shoulderpad options, obviously the tabards are waiting on clothes physics. Bandoliers would be the odd thing I can think of that's semi-original to me.
These up here Sigh time to post again 1) Harlequin Troop Banshee skins (with multiple helmet types) 2) Solitaire Scorpion skin 3) Death Jester Reaper skin 4) Corsair Hawk (and some corsair helmets for other classes, no wings though to avoid confusion) 5) Spirit Seer Warlock 6) Old Dark Reaper 7) Old Scorpion 8) Long dreadlocked Scorpion helmet 9) Bulky Scorpion armour (update it the advanced armour to the current GW Scorpion armour) 10) Runes and particle effects for them 11) Loin clothes and robes DA style without hoods 12) Biel-Tan vines 13) Cloaks 14) helmetless Eldar 15) and this baby for the warlock (with craftworld colours)
Just looking through my old Codex ( Eldar 1999 ) , it shows a Biel -Tan themed army . The Dire Avengers are shown with dark green helms and mane, white face, blue armour and a white tabarb. Small options like those would make a lot of difference I think.
So yeah, about those harlequins, instead of skins, wait, hear me out. Elites/heroes. We don't know a lot of what's going on with that right now. But we do know that Legion of the Damned show up for LSM, and CSM get that Fallen Captain. The ability is there for some very big ticket characters to show up there, like Harlequins. A Harlequin troupe skin sounds nice, but a Harlequin troupe elite makes more sense. Same with the Death Jester and Shadowseer. Also Solitaires are incredible and you insult their image by thinking a scorpion is fit to wear their outfit.
As like, compared to iron halos or stormshields? Slap a numerical armour value to it, good enough! /s
