I really feel like the shuriken catapults need to be more like the space marine stormbolter, kinda of crap a long range with the scatter, but up close it fire superfast and does a great amount of damage. I was really getting the hang of taking down jumppack marines with it.

Speaking of jumppack marines, omg the jumppack needs to be disabled for a period of time after a dbash. I dbash a marine, they just swoop behind me and melee lung into my back just as fast as I can dbash again. it's tiring no being able to really even target them, and they just lock on with that damned melee and eventually they will catch you being a little slow, or a buddy shows up. I've seen one assault marine go through a whole squad of eldar. Something needs to be done about that.

Are fire dragons going to get an alternate weapon option, so that after the melta nerf they aren't useless?

Biggest think I agree on, the Eldar evades need to be faster, their run speed a bit faster and most of all the grenade and fall animations. I get killed trying to throw grenades far too often.

Yes, I do need practice for sure. I did not play them much on Founders, so I still have to learn.

But on the other side, I am not new to the game itself. I know how do adapt to certain situations on certain maps. For example Harkus. You do have to down the quad cannons as fast as possible, as this will make the rest of the attack so much smoother. But I feel like the Eldar lack the proper tools there. While Warlocks are indeed strong at defending A on Harkus, attacking it is harsh.

Also, I know how the stealth system works and I did not move too fast or out in the open. But it is a known problem at the moment, that people with high graphic settings can see SS a lot better than supposed to.
  3. The key is movement. Run, do not walk. In melee, hit once and run. Let your buddy hit too. Take a point, then run to the next. It confuses the hell out of them. Going toe to toe with marines gets you dead. Out run, out move, out flank, and flip out of combat. It has done wonders improving my game.

dragon is like a tactical marine with melta that can't cap.

You can end it by switching seats / positions once. :)

That's especially annoying and funny at the same time when this happens right in front of approaching enemies - they sometimes look confused (or amused), arent certain whether shoot at a crazy vehicle or not and by surprise you can suddenly "calm" it and kill them all :), worked several times for me

I bet our vehicles won't have seizures.

I've only played the Dire Avenger and driven the tanks/transports so far with the Eldar. If the Eldar are meant to be fast, they should at least be as maneuverable. They need to to be able to dodge better. The tanks should be able to move around maybe more than they currently do as well. The shruiken weapons I feel should be more powerful to balance out the shortcomings of being weaker physically. Right now, the Eldar just don't seem to be effective. I like them having specialized roles, maybe more so than how SM/CSM currently are, but they need to be tuned to their strengths. As someone who normally plays Chaos, I feel bad steamrolling over the Eldar. It would be nice to have an even chance.

Hopefully they wont for if DE are released as a faction all graphichs and animations would be adjusted and improved to that moment, "tested", I would say, on your less fortunate eldar cousins so that you dont have same problems )

After trying out the Eldar a couple of times I must agree that they need a second capping class and Warlock seems like a logical choice. It might also be just me but I seem to be total shit in melee when I played as a Warlock vs SM and CSM. At first I thought the witchblade sucked and my team mates thought I was joking when I said that... now I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing anything.

Is it just me? It seems that I need to hit my opponent a dozen times before he falls while he ends me in just a few. What the heck am I doing wrong? What am I missing? And yes, I made sure that those hits I landed on my opponent weren't clanging hits, I usually end up stunning the guy and then hit him 2-3 times until their armor has the 'damaged' skin but then they seem to recover almost instantly during the fight.

    Ugh... I need a drink.
