I'd personally go with this, though I'd prefer my ranged weapon to be a plasma pistol.

I wanna be able to switch between both, like on spacemarine playing as a tactical with serrated blade perk, you was effective at both ranges

I think playing as chaos we should get as standard a bolter bolt pistol and a chainsword with frag & krak grenades, but changes on what class you pick

Consider me the odd minority of CSM where I prefer combat at a distance. I feel much more comfortable with a Bolter or Stalker Bolter than running headfirst with a chain axe or playing with dice that psykers often risk.

More than likely to start off with I'll be gunned down my enemies with a bolter will shouting the praises of the Dark Gods. Then after that just give me a crozius and a Book of Logar with a bolt pistol strapped to my belt, then I ready to rock and roll

This 'hocus pocus' could give give you a seriously nasty papercut. Or even singe your eyebrows. I wouldn't mess with a sorceror of the ruinous powers.
