1) The way that loadouts, advancemets, inventory and progression meet themselfs is awfull. If i want to improve my tactical marine... Look at this picture. Their advancements are everywhere. 2) Supply crates are the big mistake, cause nobody feel awarded, most when fellows have unlocked everything and spoil you the content. There is not enought content in those boxes, i have open all in one month. pls consider removing this kind of reward, make the people choose, not bet their tokens., that would make people think and not open chest leaded by a facepalm. i want to show all the stuff we got, in three differents tabs, that could merge in only one. There is a lot of items, lot of clicks, but is no easy to get the info, and choose smart and quick If you can add ( popup window tab display) you click and you see a list of available choices. I recommend you to follow this structure: Main weapon/ Model /Mods/ Panel info This structure would show both, locked and unlocked items, and their value in tokens. Main weapon: You choose bolter, plasma rifle, fusion rifle, stalker bolter, etc Model: you choose your skin, mastercrafted or unique Mods: If the weapon have slots you can choose several ones-. Info Panel: Show the stats changing while setting mods. Point cost: Total points invested in the weapon- With one click you show the window This way you can unlock, see a list, equip, think how to progress in the same place. i would remove advancements and i would set all progression via TOKENS = ITEMS / RANK Cause even if you remove advancemets, players will save their progression via the inventory they have unlocked, so nobody will feel damage on his progression.
I like you, because - 1. Caravan palace mate! 2. The Stalker bolter is indeed beyond useless and it was my main gun during the alpha. In fact chaos doesnt even have it anymore which makes me even more sad.
Okay, here goes: 1: Character customization in this game is a joke. Purchasing the game, then having to buy said cosmetics (which there are painfully few, especially for Eldar and SM) is a petty slap in the face. Robes, Tabards, purity seals, the whole shebang should be there, once certain ranks are achieved. 2: No more randomized boxes. Let us know what we are buying, so we can adequately save up, and not take shots in the dark. Being able to unlock scopes and special weapons is more appealing than grinding away REQ for a *chance* at something nice. 3. Tanks feel tacked on, but I'm uneder the impression that with a new updates and tank-warfare, they will be getting an overhaul soon. I hope this is teh case. 4. Maps feel very cookie cutter, and the biomes of said maps are: brown, grey, and snow. This leads to absolute stagnation and stagnation leads to BOREDOM. Need moe biomes, greener pastures, areas that are attractive to fight in. 5. Ranged characters are still at a severe disadvantage. Bolters feel underwhelming. They need a bit more oomph. Shooting into a charging melee character will hardly ever stop them. 6. Stop sending concepts to China to be turned into 3d models. The quality suffers because of it. 7. Load out and item screens look clunky and disorganized, mainly because of the way the load out screens are set up. Each weapon class should have its own column, and not have everything lumped together. A column for swords, a column for axes, a column for this, a column for that, etc etc. Goes a long way to making a more professional appearance. 8. Maps have large areas with interesting structure, but because there are absolutely no capture points in those areas, they are bypassed and forgotten. Give people a reason to go there. 9. ToW maps suffere because you're pitting the whole attacking team against the whole defending team, and the attackers get obliterated more often than not. Battlefields Rush mode has ways to counteract this, by providing 2 points to defend, instead of just 1. Also, putting points *outside* of buildings would be a nice change-up, and give ranged characters more use. Objectives inside buildings means ranged characters become useless. 10. The whole idea behind RTC was bunk to begin with, and the very idea that an in-game store went live before the game did is a whole new level of low. Get rid of RTC, and instead everything should be REQ based. If people want to spend real world money on REQ, than fine. They can do that, but having a whole separate currency based on real world cash was just a bad idea. Bonus round: Make Orks free to play. That will draw people into the game, buff the player count, and *gasp*, people might want to buy the full game to play as Chaos, LSM, and Eldar!
TOP 10 1)Character slots and sub factions. You guys want money right? Well we want character slots, then you need to give all subfactions advancement bonuses unique to them so people have a valid reason to level other subfactions. This sells more character slots, sells a ton of customizations that no one playing only one subfaction would buy, and gets people to spend more time in game leveling other subfactions to get the unique benefits. 2)RPS, needs to properly counter. The correct counter needs to prevent damage from the loser to the victors durability/stamina/you by half or none. The protection of the victors move needs to start from the push of the button to the end of the animation. So if opponent Dbashes me and I heavy attack, I should not suffer from any damage or stun as I used the correct move. 3)DBash and stuns; needs to stun exactly 1 quick attack duration. Evades should be the only option to break out of a stun, thereby making stamina gear more valueable, and thats what it is there for. 4) One Hit Kill Melee has to go, with exception of Power Fists and equivalent. So modded melee weapons should not be able to OHK with above wep exceptions. Use Eldar total health as the baseline for making this happen, otherwise they will be the only faction that getting one shotted with melee. 5)Map Movement polish. There are far to many places where you get stuck, or block you when trying to run over a crack in the ground, or railing you can't jump over. All of it needs to be smoothed out so you aren't being affected by terrain you should be able to run over / jump over. 6)Eldar psychic power aiming / reticles. These are ok at best, but compared to Chaos Sorc reticles and ease of use for aiming, Sorc's are far better in function. Update thier targetting to be similar, and larger lock on reticle. 7)RTS Weapons are not desirable as is because you can't mod them, they cost a lot and they are quickly outshined by any weapon with mods once you have them. Make it so they can have their mods removed and swapped with others or turn em into skins. Eldar cosmetics. They have barely anything. The Warlock doesn't have a single customization, and heck Eldar barely have any visual customization. 8)RTS Cosmetic prices are rediculously to high. To buy 1 item of each slot for one class would be about minimum 14k if each peice was only 2k each. Then you have other classes with their own unique slots that are not shared and you have that on top. So to outfit one subfaction you are spending min $20+ dollars. This is including RTS weapons which are about $10 dollars and the worst part here is as above, they are very quickly replaced and never used again, making their sweet looks and purchase a total waste of time. 9)Class slots. Eldar can not bring one of each class to battle, where is there other 2 slots that was said a long time ago from devs? Add them. 10)Thousand Son pre-heresy and post heresy. (SM/CSM) If you add them, I will buy everything related to them, like everything. I'm sure there is plenty others here is this boat.
Well I'm a few days late to the party but here we go: 1) Missing/incomplete cosmetic options. Some Eldar classes (warlock/Striking scorp) have zero visual options. And some have only placeholder options, like 10$ helmets. This is frustrating, even 1 month after launch. 2) Map balance and design. We have 2 maps (Maggon and Zedek) that are almost a guaranteed loss to the attackers. Also nearly all of the maps are built around close quarters combat that heavily favor melee. You have acknowledged this but it's not enough to give us 1 new map every 2 months that's better, please revisit old maps to improve. 3) We need a tutorial to teach new players. There has been plenty of discussion about this on the forums with some great ideas brought forward. 3) There needs to be lobby chat, guild chat, friend chat. And voice chat. ALL THE CHATS! You can't have a squad-based shooter with the bare bones communication methods currently in game. Community is what helps keep games alive and right now we have next to no way to communicate in game except via steam and other 3rd party apps. 4) Better use of the UAT. Not only do you need to make a way we can have both of these downloaded and playable at the same time, but please use it to test out tweaks to weapons and maps. 5) PvE needs a unique reward track. 6) Constant weapon balance and rebalance. Please do monthly sweeps of all weapon types to see what is being under-used. Then investigate why that weapon may be under performing compared to other options and adjust. I know not every weapon will be perfect but as of now plenty are straight up un-usable. Last week on Twitch brent mentiond there was a task open to "investigate the plasma cannon" and that's all he said. The forums are AFLAME with complaints about that weapon. Not to mention in game chat. Because this weapon is used by SM and CSM you see it almost every single match. Eldar vs Ork games are rare, so the plasma is ever present. It was kind of shocking to see that this seemed to be new news to brent and this wasn't a biggier priority. 7) Improved UI elements in game to indicate which points are more crucial to attack and defend. Such as which will give bonus time, etc. 8) Improved tank warfare. 9) Make RTC weapons skins you can apply to base weapons. I realize this gets tricky with mods and such but this is a near universal request. 10) Nathan, grow your beard back out.
1. Allow US/EU toggle for server placement , majority of melee issues comes from latency , cant count the amount of times dbash , quick attack will not activate. 2. remove auto aim 3. remove one hit kills 4. standardise all attack times and counters across all races we need even playing field. 5. put your game on steam sale get more players. 6. Fix wonky vehicles 7. Increase charging time for plasma to prevent quick insta gib shots on point. 8.Make damage occur on successful hits during IV frames (jump assaults) 9. Pain boys weapons need to be on par with apocs and healing grenades need to be less killable. 10. Increase friendly fire , a devastator firing on two people duelling should kill both equally.
Honestly I feel that friendly damage should be put on reflect to stop the idiots from firing into melee and to stop swinging wildly - well actually do it if they put the damage to reflect as you will just kill yourself and not the friendly players!
1. Fix d-bash, make it work every time. 2. Increase player count by 20 for every map and game mode except PVE. So that means 10 more guys on each side.
