I'm more a tactical fighter myself and prefer the thrill of melee combat. Nothing more thrilling that facing your opponent face to face.
But why.... WHY.. there are both Terminator and Tactical marine in pole? Are you kidding? What tactical marine brings, that terminator does not? (except being tactical marine of course)
Well, terminators have like 85% of tactical marine mobility. And they also can teleport. Grenades... Who cares about grenades, when you have autocannon in one hand and powerfist in another?
85% is stretching it a bit. The lack of mobility is well represented on the table as they can't perform sweeping advances. These are walking tanks. Grenades make a big difference, I don't care how well armoured you are. A plasma grenade / melta bomb is going to hurt no matter what suit your in.
Raptor! especially if I can get a meltagun in addition to pistol+CCW or whatever like the tabletop. Playing a cultist would be interesting too I think.
The difference between a tactical and a terminator is a big one, i suggest you read up on both if you are uneducated in the universe. They are both represented because: a)They are bloody 2 different roles b)They are both blatantly confirmed to be ingame. And as you can clearly see there are more than enough people choosing the tactical over the terminator.
I don't know, I think cultists are far too squishy, only good for decorating the floor and walls with their body parts
