    So I was reading the 40k wiki, and I found on the Emperor page some information that made me think "dafuq did I just read?" So I decided that I would share the info with my fellow Chaos marines, since we should know everything that might be at risk when we kill the Emperor.

    Just Tzeentch trolling a bunch of people before they got obliterated.

    Also: We don't need to kill the Emperor, he's already dying. The Golden Throne is failing, it takes 4,000 psykers every day to maintain him. The 41st millenium is his last hurrah before total oblivion.

    You're actually not wrong. It's implied that the second he dies, whether he's resurrected or not, the Golden Throne will break down and result in a second Eye of Terror spilling through the webway on Terra.

    Way I see it, Warhammer 40k is like the walking dead. They aren't going to fight off the zombies in the end, it's the last gasp of humanity before the curtain falls, the drama lies in what happens before it does.

    I think the Legion of the Damned directly relate to the Emperors "other" presence in the warp or something too. They seem very connected I think.

    We already know what will possibly happen to the Emperor if he dies, but every second he remains alive he slowly gains power through worship and sacrifice.

    ... The sooner he dies, the better for us.
