So now that you're here @MichaelChan , I wanted to pass by what you think of as synergy between weapons since the Eldar have some of the best.

For example, was the intention behind the VFX effect on the Hawk Seer Grenades intended to be amplified with the sunrifle? I mean it makes sense, the Hawk either as to work in teams or lay down a field of very visible scortched earth in a position they can predict an enemy may come through. This essentially creates a weak snowblind effect, I'm asking for it to be made slightly stronger. I like this idea and definitely makes both the Sunrifle and the Hawkseer grenades - arguably the two worst weapons in the entire Eldar arsenal - "Shoot the moon" so to speak.

This is difficult to do, and I feel as though it's justified considering the strength of the elements involved. It makes me think of the synergy between the grav gun and what it can be paired with.

LOL nope, I got back to playing Eldar because I can't find game as Ork and oh my god is the Dire Avenger strong as fuck. Heavy barrel and accuracy on the move grip, you just don't get hit with that strafe speed while landing 80+% headshots. I've always felt like I'm cheating with DA, so easy to play (EDIT - easiER than other tactical equivalents).

Try playing vs a LSM team where all their tacticals go Stormbolter... That's the current meta vs Eldar.

We just had people patrol the point and a killbox on every side, no need to go off the deep end. If we cut down the vehicle shenanigans to a minimum it can be kinda fun.

Yeah I feel that pain cause I'm maining Eldar last 2 weeks (DA, Warlock and Hawk), SB is strong. But I still regularly win most of my 1v1 duels with regular ASC and heavy armor. The thing is, marines either have to slow down and aim while moving/standing still to ensure consistent hits on my Avenger or they strafe hip-fire and miss most of their shots. In the first scenario (most tacticals) you outDPS them with all-headshots while in the second scenario... just lol. I got out of face-to-face firefights like those with only 1/3 of my armor gone.

ADAD away my friend. ADAD away. Aim at 10+ metres. Hipfire within 10m.

What he's saying is that the DAs are CQC specialists, and their role is essentially being overshadowed by the other factions that gear themselves in the same way. Storm bolters hit harder than Shuriken Catapults. When everyone has better survivability stats on top of it, it essentially forces the Eldar to fight better versions of themselves. That's... Well... Pretty unfair evaluated 1v1. Game obviously isn't 1v1 but it's definitely just another source of annoyance/imbalance when the enemy can just spray and pray while you have to stand still and get headshots to do comperable damage.

Not saying I want more AD jitter spam - I fucking hate that, the Eldar have the greatest potential to abuse it if it were allowed, and still think doing it should wreck your aim no matter what faction you're on if you tried, but that's the crux of it. DAs don't do well against weapons that need only marginal aim while they have to cut like a scalpel every time and it cuts into their specialization because they're getting out-specialized in their own role... Which should honestly be impossible.

The last time I played eldar I didn't have a problem on DA at all, but if the stormbolter is a problem why don't you use melee and support to counter them?

I think I found the solution!

Basically its annoying that our tactical is a CQC specialist. But 'generalist' infantry are kicking them around. I think they should either buff the ASC fall-off range (TLSC is fine) or up the dps. Either one of those or give us a mod to up the pen.
