The strange looking bodyguards threat elicited nothing more than an eye roll from the ex-noble. "Ugh, I can see you'll be an absolute delight to work with. Don't worry lady, the captain has nothing to worry about. You on the other hand..." she let her words trail off, knowing the stick in the mud would get the idea.

Thankfully the captain wasn't so droll, and decided a good test for her prospective crew would be a full blown bar brawl. As the place descended into anarchy, a vicious grin formed on the Spyrers face. "Ma'am, I think I'm gonna like you."

Not wanting to waste any time, she charged headlong into the battle, not even bothering to draw her blades, instead launching into the air, planting a powerful roundhouse kick onto one of nearby thugs, a sickening crack ringing out through bar as his jaw was shattered.

"I think I'm doing good on that account Sav!" Arissa called over to her sis before pulling her mono dagger emerged from the forearm of her arm, tossing it inches past her sister and into the crotch of one of the other brawlers moving in on her. "Oh, moneyshot!"

Ducking down she instinctively dodged a barstool that was swung at her, rolling over and popping up next to her sister, pulling out her dagger out of the groin of one of her nearby victims while going back to back with Sav.

"You having as good a time as I am sis?"

The Haemonculus' smile widened slightly and he took the Captain's hand with a gracious nod. It was a rare delight to find such a lady, especially in a place like this. Vulgar brawls did not appeal to the Commorrite, though he knew many of his kin enjoyed them. Varl wasn't averse to participating in a battle, but he usually did so with his Coven. The Remade Helix were always keen to showcase their creations. He sighed slightly, partly from reminiscence, partly from the keen appreciation of the moment, the juxtaposition of crude violence as a background for the striking figure before him.

"Thank you kindly, Ma'am," he said, "such entertainments are not to my taste this morning. Though perhaps, they may provide a timely demonstration of my art when the fighting is done."

Just as he allowed the Captain to draw him along with her, one of her crew approached, not the usual run of Humanity but - unless the Haemonculus was very much mistaken - one of the prized Navigators. How fascinating! While of course he would love to study ... this was not the time.

"Well I'll be, you the Captain's long-lost cousin..?"

    Varl smiled once more.

"Distant relative, of a certainty. Cousin, well, in the old manner of speaking. Kin of my kin, one might say."

Aeris smiled a little at Varl as he spoke and then looked over at Lach, chuckling at her question and allowing her guest to answer while Shriek stood by to guard the captain and the rest of her crew. "I would say so, yes. Indeed, if you desire to come with me then I have a nice workshop for you, and probably plenty of wounds to fix." she nodded, though glanced at a trio of what looked to be crew members of another pirate - an Eldar, a Pelager and of course a female human.

"Oy, what's this?" the Eldar - who seemed to be a rather vulgar corsair - growled out to the captain, who scowled at the three of them. "Havin a tea party in the middle of a fight? Some captain you are, aren't you?" he grinned, flipping a combat knife in his hand and tossing it at the captain, who merely had to move her head to dodge.

"Forgive me, my dear Varl. It seems I have some ruffians to teach." she sighed, pulling the knife off the wall and throwing it at the other Eldar, embedding the blade in his heart and causing him to fall over. "Not even an attempt to dodge. I just saved your captain quite a bit of money, I'm sure." she smiled, before turning away from the two other pirates.

"Shriek, Lach, if you would be so kind to remove them from my presence. I'm talkin business here." she requested of her crew, the human rushing forwards to punch Shriek in the gut while the pelager pulled out her own rifle.

Seeing how skilled the two sisters were, most of the other combatants began to back away in attempt to not be part of their wrath. Though two who stayed closer were some Eldar twins (or at least they looked like twins) who smirked and drew out their weapons - two chainsabers each. "You know sister, I've always wondered if those suits are anything close to our own speed." said one. "As have I, sister. What say we find out?" the second one agreed, before they both dashed forwards and swung their swords at the ex-nobles, forcing them into a two-on-two duel...

Buetoof had very little trouble wading through a sea of puny gits, blood gore and brains flying around the bar as his wrench smashed and he showed the same enthusiasm that once made an entire merchant ship surrender before even a single drop of blood was spilled.

Unfortunately, the music that blasted through the bar and made glasses shatter was not quite appreciated by everyone. A duo soon enough stood in front of him - one ogryn and what seemed to be a Cadian stormtrooper. "Matty no like ur musik." The ogryn grunted, smacking the rokk box out of his hand and then stomping on it, breaking it enough to make the music stop. Then there came a heavy punch across his face with a loud 'crack' by ogryn-fist, the normal human standing back and watching the fight with a smirk.

Goramor had quite easily punched out a few of the patrons who were either too drunk or too brave to realize just how overmatched they were. That is, until a large bear of a man decided that is weapons were going to be used, he was going to use his own. From behind the Sslyth, he pulled out a heavy, two-handed shock stick and hefted it up to bring it slamming down upon his back, sending deep electrical shocks into the serpent body, jolting up to his brain and crisping up his scales very slightly from the high power output. "Turn and face me, slithery bastard." he growled out.

Malrak's flames would have great effect in the fight, if not exactly in the way that one would expect. The original recipient of the flames would soon enough be revealed to have been turned into a crystal statue of impeccable workmanship. Meanwhile, the rest of them had turned into a flock of ravens that appeared to be wearing miniature suits of armor, who cawed and flayed over to all perch on the Astarte's, who sighed even in the face of the group who was menacing the captain.

@High_Adept_Zeth Searus cocked her head towards the man who has called her a heretek before shooting a bar patron who was about to head to the same place as him causing the now unfortunate patron to stumble face first into the bar as his left ankle was shot out. With a brief moment of calculation she figured the scavenger mpwould probely be after something interesting and if not then he could always recompense her with what ever he had on his body.

"Just a moment scabbi" she replied before heading over to his locating her medical mechatendril creating a flurry of blades around her deterring any one else from approaching her. Upon reaching the man she had wounded she shot him in the head before he could counter attack and then she headed over the bar and towards the scrapper.

Once Searus joined Annie by the bar and they headed off, they would find a door leading into the back room. It was locked, but for the pair of them a mechanical lock wouldn't cause much issue for either one, let alone combined. Although what was past the door could give them quite a few issues. A laser would zap by their heads as the bartender and three other men, all with carapace armor and hot-shot lasguns, stood in the back room that was filled with the weak, stinky booze the place served, as well as quite a few bottles of good stuff not to mention an armory of weapons and gear. It seemed that the bar also worked as a black market black market.. or perhaps the bartender was simply a hoarder or paranoid about bar brawls.

"Damn you guys! I mean seriously, why does this have to happen today of all times... we just cleaned up from yesterday's!" he growled, all four guns leveled on the two techies. "Now, get out or I might have to have a little 'talk' with your captain about this."

    That. Hurt. It actually hurt.
Goramor turned around slowly. He pointed two index fingers at the aggressor with his right hands.
    "You. Dead."
With all four arms, he picked up the table and threw it at the shock baton guy. Whether it hit or missed, Goramor quickly moved over to him and constricted the man in his coils, while choking him with his lower arms and punching the face with his upper arms.

The Corsair Captain's smile was as charming as her manners. She recognised his skill; she knew of his profession, which was a plus over having to explain it. The Haemonculus had many ways to demonstrate it, of course, but this was not the time. She was already offering him a workshop, which would be good to have after time spent travelling. He walked with her a little way, a small portion of his mind planning what he might need to make it home, and waited patiently while she dealt with her underlings, and then -

This magnificent woman went from mid conversation, to a perfectly-placed heart shot, and back to conversing again. She flowed through it with the grace of an arena champion, but without the grandstanding for a crowd. Treleskan felt a slight brush of a long-unexpected feeling, like the touch of wings somewhere in his ancient chest. It was a little hard to place, but didn't distract him from watching her next move.

  8. Malrak didn't know exactly what to expect when he used the fire of tzeentch on them but adding a few new ravens to his collection was definitely a pleasant surprise. Even if they came with little outfits he found slightly strange but presumably they would be easy enough to get out of them. Irregardless he was in a brawl last time he checked so would be best to continue fighting. And well he didn't have many other spells that wouldn't destroy the bar but he did have a fresh unkindness of ravens who were armored. The application of such things seemed quite obvious now that he looked at them. As such he decided to dominate their simple minds and send them into a frenzy upon the bar patrons who weren't apart of the captain's crew.

Despite all of the chaos, he somehow managed to stay unscathed. Whenever that was a testament to his skill and experience, or fickle favor of the fortune gods - remains to be seen.
Whatever patron looked after the poor bar tender, was soon to be unemployed.

"Just a moment scabbi" it turned out to be she. Not knowing the relevance of her gender, especially if he cant see half of her face behind that mask, he quickly added back twitching both from fear of what he has just witnessed and frustration:

"Aint that a bitch!? That bloke that you just wasted was our ticket in!I guess we`ll have to do it the hard way."
With the grace of a feline (or at least, graceful enough not to get dizzy or his spine starts snapping), he rushed to the back doors, he was so familiar with. Persuading them to open with a swift kick of his right leg, he cought sight of a welcoming committee - and the loot behind them. Slowly, he rose his hands in the air...

"Easy there chief, you know me, i am a regular. Just looking for a place to duck my head under, `tis all. Now, i wouldnt advise you to keep these doors open, considering all the firepower and witches out there. Just one stray bullet into all that booze you have there..." he continued, gesticulating with his hands an explosion.

After his paltry performance was over, he winked at the guards with a sly smile: "Ever seen what a chemical fire can do in a cramped room like this? Not to mention the loss of all your property..."

Bluetoof stopped as his Rokk box was taken from him and orky Muzik stopped flooding the bar. He went surprisingly silent as he looked down at the silent Rokk box looking almost forlorn as he kneeled down to it putting it back into his loot sack with a delicacy and almost reverance . Facing away from the Ogryn and Cadian Stormtrooper Bluetoof spoke in a low tone "Now ya dum zogged up , ya dun zogged up big"the ork said drawing a weapon from their loot sack whirling to face his foes as a humming began to be heard

Clenched in the orks hands was an Imperial plasma gun , or at least it was at some point in time. Currently it had been decorrated with Glyphs all accross it and daubed with blue paint all over the weapon, Most prominently the Glyphs for luck on either side of the muzzle. As the ork's finger clenched around the trigger any not near the buisness end of the plasma gun would be able to hear the chattering chant of ork ranged enthusiasts the galaxy over "DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAK-" the chant was cut off with as the plasma gun began spitting his fury even though the machine spirits spite was obvious , he first shot flying off and blowing out a window whilst he had been aiming for the Smirking Cadian to wipe his smug git face from existence he ended up with shots impacting against the Ogryn's stomach and chest
