@BadDo9 Searus headed back to her chamber and begin to repair herself of the damages she had sustained. She Locked the doors, scoured the room and area of anything mechanical, organic or synthetic that could be used to spy or listening on her and built up her own counter measures against such things before she started. Getting the tools set up and clearing the room took some further time but it was time she had. Once everything was within acceptable parameters she began to conduct her repairs. After an unknown length of time she was finally done with her repairs. She then ran system wide checks, analysis, various sweeps through her bionics and her organics systems before getting to the next task in her agenda the cracking of the data she had recovered.
@TuskatheDaemonKilla "Sure, Got through a bit of the basics a while back and got into the basics of her journal most of the beginning, Got through the initial part of it being mostly events that did not pertain to most scientific stuff till I got a fair bit in, Got to her first flesh crafting experiments. Felena said with a bit of delight in her voice. "Involving cloning, seems she had a bit of a haste finding the tech to help her in the creation of cloning and had to ally herself with a Techpriest who seemed to be down on his luck that decided to work with her due to her own researching being similar to hers, Seems her first experiments went with quite a few hitches and the first subjects clone a few being her and another being a a fallen ganger and former adept seem to come out a bit, with a few dashes of mutation, Most of these mutations seem to come from Equipment problems, along with both the tech priests and the doctors Theory having to do with manipulating aging factors, Seems theirs even a few notes on the clones time spent living as well other notes about there time being alive and even it looks like a psych eval." Felana said as she began examining a few of the formulas and a few notes and a couple of notes that seemed to be theory on how to improve or prevent these mutations or results in the future. would work slowly through the notes letting Malrak to take time to examine them.
< @Wata > After a while, there would come a knock to the door. "S-sir Goramor, I have your food." came a feminine voice. It would be a felind kitchen serf, who looked at the sslyth wide-eyed, carrying a platter of food. "Wh-what you ordered, ser." she offered, ready to carry the platter in or what was asked of her. < @Uriel1339 > As Kairiel sat there after having left their new arrivals to get used to their room, the Lacrymole first mate, Yurikas, came over and sat near the resident diplomat, his face a little somber behind the smile he usually held with his mouth. "I hear that the mission went a little awry." he said, only knowing what happened thanks to staying on ship when the captain left, keeping everything running. "So.. what happened on your end, old friend?" < @Tamu > As Searus began to decode the data, she would get very interesting results. It seemed that the psykers had fled from the black ships, and began to gather more warp-sensitive to bolster their powers. Eventually they were to strike back at the imperium, their captors. The leader was a very egotistical journal taker. However what was more helpful was the locations of some possible black-market dealers and other semi-unsavory types that Aeris might want to have dealings with. < @Jorimel > Aeris looked over at the Haemonculous with a sharpness to her eyes, but soon enough relented and sighed. "I could use that, Varl. Thank you." she said with a smile to him, brushing one of her hands against his idly, as if thinking. "But.. come to my quarters in a while, I have some things I must do." she said with a nod to her dark kin before striding down the hallway. < @Maleth > After a bit, Aeris would come into the medbay and sit down next to Saven, looking at Arissa and sighing softly. She didn't say much, simply an "I'm sorry" as she sat there to offer the spyrer whatever was needed. Even someone to blame if it came to that.
"Bring it in." Goramor said and dragged a nearby stool next to the tub. "Right here." He pointed at the stool, still in his well deserved bath. He couldn't help but smirk at the way she stuttered eyes wide, of course what else could she do when faced with such a glorious specimen as Goramor himself. "If it doesn't scare you too much a massage would do me wonders, miss..? Unless you have other duties you need to hurry off to."
Hearing the news caused Saven to sit there in shock, slowly processing that yes... Her sister was gone. She wordlessly got up from her seat and left the medical bay at a considerable pace, rushing away from that place, with her mind in turmoil over what she had been told. The sister she though would be with everything truly was gone was something she wasn't taking too well... It was only when the Spyrer got to her room that she allowed herself the luxury of crying, sobbing and letting her grief come out for whoever passed by her room and stopped to listen. Her rather overt display of her sadness slowly faded away, if not entirely gone, when she sought solace the only way she had enjoyed, to try and help her forget about her loss even if it was only for a short while.
<Yurikas - @BadDo9 > "Death. To put it bluntly. Not the usual pew-pew kind of death by flashlights or so." Kairiel sighed, trying his attempt at weak jokes, faking even a smile only to frown again and shrugging a bit. "Pretty much everyone assigned to escorting me died or otherwise heavily injured. That reminds me, I should check on the Spyrer sisters. One of them got pretty badly wounded in the fight." He shook his head, he was rambling. "You asked what happened, apologies. Well. There was this... I do not know how to quite put it. Presence of decay. Even metal, it just died - rusted, you know? And..." Kairiel sighed and cracked his neck a bit to the left and right. "Well, our recruitment numbers were not quite as good as anticipated - a lot having died in the firefight on both sides. Along with barely proper salvaged gear, we made perhaps break even if you look at it in an ROI spectrum. It didn't raise our morale much either, a lot lost good friends and are now forced to work with those who caused their death in some way. It will be a looooong road to recovery." The water caste Tau closed his eyes and rubbed near the slit on his forehead. "But enough about me, how did you guys fare on the ship? Are the new crew members all settled in?"
< @Maleth @Keidivh > Aeris sighed as she watched the Spyrer move away and looked down at the other. She could sense the faintest traces of life in Arissa but as it seemed that, as far as they were concerned, she was mostly dead. Not all dead though. With that in mind she ordered the melee spryer to be put into a stasis pod, perhaps that would help her... somehow. And then with that done she stood and started going to her quarters. She could really use that massage now... ( @Jorimel ) < @Uriel1339 > Yurikas sighed a little and rubbed his head as he listened to the water caste, feeling slightly down that his old friend had so much trouble. "It was odd here too. No communications to block, no ship-to-ship battles, almost as if this place was believed to be deserted." he grunted, though smiled a little at the second question. "You mean your 'ghost squad'?" he asked with a small smirk. "I just sent them all some food. We'll have to test their abilities first off, to see if they would really be good in that station." < @Wata > The Felinid blushed a bit more and nodded as she walked into the room, placing the food down on the stool. At the mention of a massage she gulped and looked at the Sslyth with even wider eyes. "Y-yes Ser, I-I can give a massage ser." she said, partially afraid of what would happen if she disappointed the serpent.
Malrak stood next to Felana watching what she was doing and listening to her occasionally nodding so she knew he understood her. His book was opened in his hands a pen floating in the air and writing down notes as he listened. Science was not his main subject of study but he had to admit that he was fascinated by aspects of it, this cloning combined with his sorceries is what made Montesquieu after all. His favorite bird in his collection groomed itself in the next room almost as if it could tell its master was thinking about it. "Do you believe the captain will allow us to conduct experiments aboard the ship, Felana?" He asked idly as he noticed they had both gone silent for a moment with both of them studying so intently. @Vulpas
@Jorimel Shriek clears her throat, as she approaches Varl. She looks at him calmly. "We didn't finish our... ehm, discussion, onboard that station. I wanted to ask you for a favor. As a Haemoncolus, you work with molding and improving on flesh and the like, correct?" She watches him calmly with her one, not covered eye, her metallic claw clicking against her leg "Do you still do those practices?"
@BadDo9 "Thats a good way to start them. An old imperial idiom 'love walks through the stomach' or something along those lines holds true very often. Seen it often enough with Kroot, bonding through sharing food. Even when for non-shaping purposes. But as you indicated, time will tell if they were just talkers or actually can hold up to their promises. Have to admit I rather had a XV-15 team." Kairiel shrugged and smiled, enjoying the company of this old friend, one of the few souls he didn't had to use his trade on in order to keep a conversation going. But instead finding someone he can talk bluntly and directly to in Yurikas. There weren't many people around that like him, or her - depending on the Lacrymoles current form. "I can't wait to move onto the next raid. Perhaps something less... Creepy." He chuckled a little and leaned back, far enough to look at the ceiling.
