Shriek, a person with very little when it comes to tact, had been close to grabbing the captain by her collar and dragged her out with her if Varl hadn't moved in. Shriek instead decided to activate a filter she had installed. It was heavily experimental, but still had its uses, allowing her to faintly detect psykik traces. Of course, psykik traces were everywhere, BUT the filter, due to being experimental, had a benefit. It was highly inefficent, making it having problems detecting the energy, meaning that it only saw large sources.. Sources like a psyker that actually could be dangerous to them. She walked with the captain on the way back, mumbling in an annoyed tone, clearly not a fan of the fact that she failed in killing that psyker.
@BadDo9 | @High_Adept_Zeth "Affirmative, Aeris. We shall retreat." Kairiel replied straight up and turned to get out, standing next to Ananius Vex. Talking calm and reserved, now that he knew that he had done good. The Pulse Pistol was a bit loose in his hand, glancing a bit around. "I know it might had been a bit far. But I had to go in such extremes of personal bonds. After all, otherwise it would be just regular recruitment tactics. This is something new, something they haven't experienced before - and hopefully might inspire the one or the other of their memories of families. And that nostalgia alone might just convince them to join us." His eyes landed on Markus and the Tau couldn't help but smile. "After all. While some of us made in fact family with some of the crew members here, others did bring their family with them. One way or another, we are together stuck on the same ship. And even if our opponents decide to not join us. At the very least they might refrain from killing more of us. Now let's be on our way, like the good captain ordered. Markus. Please make sure the Ogryn carries our good Spyrer lady back to the vessel. Ananius, I suggest you lead the way, since Jerry sadly perished, also considering you are a scavenger, you might be the only one of us remembering the way back to our vessel." Kairiel said innocently, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand, his body language giving away that in fact he had no idea of how to get back.
@Uriel1339 Scooping up some of the goo, he noticed Tau standing next to him. Finishing up his work, what could be scavanged he tossed in Jerry what couldnt on his person, he observed Kairel, his eyes instinctively going for the weapon he held loosely in his hand. With a shrug he added to Tau`s elaboration: " Hey, you wont find any complaints from me if the boss says its okay. Besides i am probably the last guy of our group who would tell you how to do your job. As long as you are doing it, thats fine by me." Ananius added, wordlessly moving to the infront of the group. "Oh, dont worry about Jerry, a few pockmarks cant bring him down. Some spit and shine and he`ll be good as new!" scavanger added with a sympathetic pat on the container`s hull, as he pushed the container infront of himself. With minute glances toward his dataslate on left vambrace, Vex moved foward leading the remains of their group to where suppose the hangar area is, and where their rides back to Hanatari should be.
Searus sigh upon seeing the motor pool being full of anything but the glorious machinery of the machine god. Upon seeing the physker she had wanted to question him but before nary a word could be said he was blasted into oblivion by the others. Judging that any further competing would be wasting time she went into the nearest capsule, took picts and detailed notes of it and a few others before going to the nearest terminal to access info or hack info about these things. In the process she heard the call for regrouping so she sped up her progress and took as much as she could. Being a rune priest getting around acess walls, fire walls and any other normal and military hardware blockade was easy for her as she was a tech priest who went followed the path of the rune priests bypassing such fail safes was trivial to her. Not planing to be left behind she grabbed as much information as she could about anything that seemed useful or important as well as anything about these capsules before heading to the hangers to meet up with the rest of the crew.
Varl saw that the Captain had been troubled by her headset not working, but she also did not seem quite her usual self. Solicitously, he kept close by (while still allowing her enough room to swing her sword). Walking briskly now that the announcement had been given. "Your purchaser has a way with words," he remarked, meaning Kairiel, "and who knows, he may well succeed in appealing to the masses. I would not think that they have heard so good an offer in some time." "And should anyone need patching up, of course I shall volunteer my services," he added, and meant it, too. Without even the ghost of an ulterior motive.
Malrak pressed the communication device in his ear when the captain requested roll call. "This is Malrak, we have made it into the security room. The greenskin seems to have done what it was required to do but I also sense something very strange in the motor pool. Almost like several psykers using their powers in tandem to form a very powerful force. I would suggest caution for the team headed there." Malrak let go of the communications device and looked to the ork and the machine it hap belching horrible music. "Now that you've thoroughly destroyed the console could you please turn off your machine before I throw it into the immaterium?" He asked choosing not to raise his voice but sound commanding nonetheless. @bossaroo
Goramor listened to the Tau's broadcast with a furrowed brow. "...Seriously..?" He mumbled and scratched his chin with his axe. Then there was the psyker and the event of him being tossed across the room, again. Splattered by blood and whatever nasty fluids, again. "I am getting SICK and TIRED -" he shouted, anger rising. Goramor picked himself up and swiped his face clean of gore. "- OF GETTING TOSSED AROUND! LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO MY ARMOR! KILL THAT FOOL!" He pointed a sword at the psyker ordering everyone to kill him and charged, shooting with both pistols at the same time.
@TuskatheDaemonKilla "Touch me muzik an' i feed ya yer own squishy bitz" Bluetoof said off-handedly from beneath the console as he touched two wire together sparking them , he crawled out from underneath a grim smile on the orks face as the two wires began to smoke and spark wildly "we shud get ta where da Captin sayz we should be den " Bluetoof grabbed his loot sack , ripped one of the finer monitors from the console and stuffed it in before walking out chuckling
Saven complained to herself over the Tau's broadcast, with the general theme involving her, Gomamor and teasing the Tau in less than clean methods. However, her attention was grabbed by the heads exploding the in the pods, the snakeman getting blasted with lighting (which really concerned her), and her suit worryingly moving jerkily (also a big concern). So, the Spyrer decided to use her rifle-sized weapon on the Psyker (or Witch, as the Imperium would normally say), aiming for the head as she sent bullets flying toward her target. Suffice to say, if one bullet wasn't enough to slay her foe, then surely three, five, seven and so on might do the trick, to her understanding.
Malrak sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose as the greenskin ripped a screen from the wall. "How a race like yours managed to reach space travel is a mystery even Tzeentch is dumbfounded by." He muttered before the ork started speaking in its bastardized low gothic. "But yes we should go where the captain commands." Malrak said before following the ork out of the room assuming Felana wouldn't be far behind.
