@TuskatheDaemonKilla As the Psyker vanished in a gout of flames Bluetoof laughed loudly "guess dem Inquishun umies would be roight an proppa pleased wiff ya ey ? Burnin da witch an all dat gaff" he joked nudged the psyker in the ribs with a large green elbow. As they arrived at the enpty control room and spied blood and carnage Bluetoof merely huffed "we missed da real scrap from da looks a it" the ork spoke around a small bolt it chewed on and when he realized the defence systems were Vulernable to a control seizure the ork slammed his musik box on a nearby chair and set it begin blaring orky Rokk into the room as he cracked open a panel and began working "Deffskullz come fer all yer flash ooha" the ork chanted with seemingly no relation to the musik playing
@Uriel1339 From the doorframe Vex looked behind his mask`s circular lenses at the Tau. The only thing that sickened him more then the alien puking was his sniveling. Like he was the one getting choked out there. For a moment he thought why Aeris even bothered employing him? Maybe she just likes having a pet softy around? With a shake of his head he knew it was not it, he had his qualities, he was just terrible at translating them on the battlefield. Besides it was not his to judge, he wasnt getting paid enough for it. "Retreat? That sounds good right about now." added Ananius nonchalantly ignoring the glare he received from Markus. Gesturing to Cadian to take his point at the door, Vex approached the shaken Tau, contents of the pockets and sown in additional bags rattled with each of his step, giving him a bulkier look. "Look, i am not good at this whole motivation thing but..." he said his voice muffled by the face-mask which he was glad to have, considering the stench and additional mess the Tau made. Standing between him and the badly decomposed corpses blocking his view, Vex continued: "...but what was all that about not failing Aeris? We can bail out...or we can do our job, and Captain is out there somewhere..." he said gesturing to the communications array "and may rely on us to do our part. Maybe hers and lives of all our crewmates may depend on it, and this.." he added nudging one of the corpses with his foot "... is just an incentive if anything else. Maybe worse things are prowling the station and one rogue psyker is just about five on the scale of ten most fucked up things that can happen to us." "So here..." he added offering the vox emitter that was remotely connected to the array, go outside and take a breather before you get sick again - but make sure you do your job and coordinate us on this station. We need fresh recruits for the raids and we need to know if the Captain is okay."
Varl did not know where the best place to go would be, aside from the nebulous direction of 'away'. He took a place near the Captain and kept his hexrifle handy, scanning the corridor for any sign of pursuit and his rarefied senses on high alert. He offered Shriek a steadying hand. "Ma'am," the Master Haemonculus said, his gaze not on the lovely Captain but the surroundings, "where one vile psyker lurks, there may be more. But the breeds tend to keep apart." He paused. "I am not sure how that helps." "I suggest we raise whomever we can and regroup. Failing that, we fall back to the ship and hope that your crew are well-disciplined enough to do the same."
Malrak sighed at the greenskin's joke and pinched the bridge of his nose with his clawed fingers. That joke was so awful and of poor taste it brought him physical pain. As the ork began doing its job tomthe soujd of awful chaotic music Malrak let go of his nose and simply sighed. Tzeentch was watching him right now and laughing. He was sure of that much
"Well, that guy is dead now." Goramor said after witnessing the thorough shooting of said sorcerer, he himself taking part in the shooting himself. He slithered around the pods and poked one's glass to see if it would wake up. He frowned and looked about, this was what they were supposed to secure? "Well, look around for something of worth, I guess ." He ordered and started a more thorough search of the room, maybe someone would wander in to shoot again.
Looking upon the pods with a sense of deep unease over their contents (and taking part in the business of slaying the Psyker, given it was pretty likely that said psyker was going to try and cause trouble for them) Saven said to Goramor ( @Wata ) "Well, hopefully there's something around we can find, otherwise.... Well, anything you'd like to make a bet on?" She giggled a little, knowing exactly what she'd be betting on. Having said that, the Spyrer also went looking for things around the room, but more to keep her mind off the pods than to gather anything useful.
@High_Adept_Zeth | @BadDo9 Kairiel took a deep breath through his mouth, careful not to smell too much, although his nostrils either started to get used to it or began to die as the stench grew weaker to him. "That is why I count you as a close friend to me, Ananius Vex. You know what to say, when to say it. Just like you had to do when you gave me the Amasec. I'm not even sure why I'm sober now. But you are right. We haven't fought this hard, lost so many good souls, just to give into defeat. That is not the way of the Hanatari Family. We fight till it's over, and won't stop one moment before that." The Trader said, standing up and grabbing the vox emitter. @Jorimel @Keidivh @High_Adept_Zeth @Maleth @bossaroo @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Valonox @Vulpas @Tamu @Wata @Wincent @Casavay "This is Kairiel of the Hanatari Crew. The very crew that has this station surrounded, under suppression fire and almost in complete control. We are not cruel overlords that seek to enslave, murder and devour the corpses of our enemies. No. We are Pirates with a code of honor. Freelancers with standards. Warriors with valor and dignity. That is what the Hanatari Family is about. We are besting you because we are not loosely associated mercenaries. But because we fight shoulder-to-shoulder like brothers, sisters, parents and children. We are one. No matter if your skin is white, black, green, blue or any other color, you can be part of this family." "All we ask you to do is to lay down your weapons. You do not need pledge your lives to us, you do not need to be with us till the end of your life. No. We respect freedom above all, that you can choose as you please. And you will be welcome and treated like any senior member, as long as you follow the word of our Captain Aeris. She will not hide on her throne like your lordlings of this station, but fight with you, carry the burden of combat and risk her life as she expects of all of those who choose to fight with her." "She does not hog the treasures for herself but shares them fair with her people. I do not attempt to scare you into our service, but offer you an option to get out alive. Even if you do not wish to join us, but want to live. Lay down your arms and we will get you to the closest outpost, where you can continue to make your life choices. But what choices, what options do your current lordlings give you? None but to die for them, to rather die in a blaze of glory instead of considering the good of their people. Will you continue to serve tyrants of their own desires. Or will you break free and let your body and spirit roam out there among the stars? This is your choice. I cannot do more than to show you the door, but you must walk through it yourself. Kairiel over and out." The Tau first iterated the speech in low gothic, then repeated it in every language he knew including Eldar, Tau and Ork - or at least repeat it as close as he was possible to. After that he shut the vox emitter off and looked over to Vex, expecting the next order either from him or through his vox-bead.
Close friend? Family? for a moment Annie thought that Kairel would even go so far as to hug him. To prevent such a abominable scenario of feeling the skin of an alien, or a possibility that he could pickpocket him during the close encounter, Vex just nodded, his facial expression hidden behind the mask. Taking a few steps back with, his palms open and infront of him as if to stop an avalanche coming his way, Vex suddenly felt he stepped into something icky and gooey by the mushy sound of it. Turning around, his brow locked in distaste, he attempted to clean the goo from the sole of his boot with a piece of pipe he found laying around within his arm reach. It seems that green goo was ozzing from cadavers, the liquid seemingly a byproduct of unnaturally accelarated decomposition. Fighting his urge to retch the remains of the previous meal though the filter of his mask, Vex picked up an empty vial from one of his many pockets, scooping a bit of the firm jelly into it. Hearing the snippets of Kairel`s vox broadcast, he wondered for a moment, if the Tau was still under the effect of amasec. Family? Freedom? No living sacrifices? Why, people will start thinking we come to loot and pillage from a local Garden World as our base of operation and Aeris as our idealized Maiden-Lady. Hitting the vial a few time with his index finger, stirring the jelly within, Vex nodded to himself as if afirming the idea that he came up with. In the more quiet nights when curiosity outweighted the instinct for survival, Ananius would sneak away from the safe zones and into the urban badlands observing those that would operate on the fringes or in the shadows of civilization. Not the most healthy of hobbies, yes. Some of those survived through the power of ritual and help of otherworldly beings. Among the usually macabre traditions and practices, Ananius obeserved an interesting detail, a detail he recalled of now. Even they couldnt spare wasting resources, and remains of their sacrifical victims they used as a fertilizer for what plants they grew for nourishment. Prehaps, it would be possible to replicate the result from this icky liquid. He just needed someone to look into it and see if it would work before he starts selling it. And for that he needed a specialist in the alchemical and arcane.
Felana took several moments swinging around before hearing bluetoofs voices of the psykering being gone and Malarka, defeating it with his good old breathing fire trick, It would take her several moments before her eyes were fully better but during that time she felt a bit ashamed being unable to help malark during the fight and barley doing anything of worth. "need to get stronger." Felana said under her breaths her vison finally returned seeing them by a cognitor, being silent she came behind the others to look at the situation suddenly hearing one of tehre crew over the vox. "Seems like the others are fairing better, That psyker that we fought seemed out, I don't think she was a imperial." Felana said looking at the security screens.
<EVERYONE> < @Uriel1339 @High_Adept_Zeth @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Jorimel @Vulpas @Casavay @Wata @Maleth @bossaroo @Wincent @Tamu > Hearing what Varl said made Aeris pause, her hand trembling a little, before finally she nodded. With a sigh she looked at Varl and then spoke. "You're right.. and I must clear my head. Thank you." she said, and then finally heard the non-stop static that had been plaguing her ear and comm bead disappear. With a look at Lach and Shriek she started walking back towards the hallway, stepping quickly. "Hanatari, send the Valkyrie and the landing craft to the hanger of the station, we're getting ourselves out of here." she said, before speaking to Kairiel, though everyone could hear. "Kairiel, good job getting that message out, now get your ass out of there and head to the hangar with Vex and Arissa. We're getting ourselves out of here, something isn't right. Same for the rest of you, finish up what you were doing and get to the hangar. Anyone not there in ten gets left behind, you hear!?" she said, not risking bringing an enemy psyker into the ship. "I want a roll call and a status report from each group leader, come in." she finally finished her orders and waited for responses. < @TuskatheDaemonKilla @bossaroo @Vulpas > Bluetoof's hands and musik worked on the console, hoping to work out the way to override security controls and make the turrets work for them. After a good while the console suddenly sparked and exploded (just a little bit), the screens lighting up with error signals and then shutting off. Whatever had happened, they had no way to use the computer anymore. However, that is when Malrak would feel a very powerful, psychic gestalt presence in the motor pool - and the power shrink, just a little. < @Wata @Maleth @Tamu > Goramor, while looking around, would lock eyes with one of the humans in a pod when his eyes shot wide open. He screamed silently for a mere moment before his head exploded, splattering the view with blood and brain gore. Another would suffer the same fate near Saven, and then one near Searus. One by one, the humans in their pods lost their lives - though there were hundreds, so the process would take quite a while. "What have you done!?" roared the red-robed psyker which had assailed the captain, popping into the room alongside the one that it seemed Malrak had burnt. Panicked troops waved weapons and fired, though no shots made it through. It seemed they were getting their power from somewhere - indeed, a few of the humans had just turned into skeletons before their heads could explode. Saven would feel her suit begin to move jerkily, as if the joints had been filled with stones, and Goramor would be slammed into the pod near him by a heavy blast of lightning. It burnt some of his scales and he got deadman blood and gore on his head. "You have ruined a plan years, decades in the making! The only thing to do now is kill you all and start over. So die!"
