Seeing Goramour head into the fight, Saven decided to hang back and instead use her Rig's weaponry to help the odds turn in their favour. Loading up her Heavy weapon, she tapped the holograph menu to assemble a weapon akin to a Heavy Stubber, backpack providing the appropriate ammo and modifications. She then braced herself and fired short bursts into the fight, trying to avoid any friendly fire incidents.
Watching her esrtwhile allies get into the fighting searus did a quick scan of the room to find the optimal targeting solutions. As she watched the spyer ready herself searus likewise made her preparation. When they where done sehe began to fire at key enemy targets with her ballistic mechatenril trying to stay within the shadows of the hall way she was in to minimize return fire.
< @Casavay @Jorimel @Wincent > [Waiting for Lach and Varl] < @bossaroo @Vulpas @TuskatheDaemonKilla > Felena's shot would miss the Rak'gol's legs, if only because it had been picked up by Malrak just before the shot could land. Meanwhile, though, the ork was latched onto the beast, grabbing at the collar around his neck. They struggled for a moment before the Rak'gol slammed into the wall, the collar beginning to beep as the beast was knocked out. Fortunately for Malrak, the creature would survive. Sadly for bluetoof, it was because he pulled off the collar, which soon exploded and burnt bloody wounds into the Ork's hands. Thus, his shiny loot for the Captain was gone. < @Tamu @Wata @Maleth > Goramor, as part of his rampage, would find himself face to face with a Rak'gol of his own. It grinned in wild anger and pain, raising the hammer it held with two arms (the other two with curved swords) into his side, cracking at least a few ribs and sending him flying across the room. Thankfully, he landed safely on a pile of corpses he had just created earlier. Though he was chased after by his opponent. Saven and Searus, meanwhile, would get quite a few nice kills to each of their marks with their ranged weaponry. However, one of the enemy troops, after dispatching an Eris Merc with a stab to the heart, looked over at the hallway and saw gunfire emanating from it. He pulled out a frag and threw it just before his head exploded from stubber fire. It landed right behind the pair of them and exploded, sending them forwards into the room, landing on their stomachs with shrapnel mostly bouncing off their armor but piercing a few places, causing pain. < @Uriel1339 @High_Adept_Zeth @Keidivh > All at once, what had seemed to be a rather unbreachable hold was now overrun by Ogryn and a few other CQC mercs, while Markus and the rest of them held their ground and aimed their guns into the fray. One round of fire saw a few of the enemy explode in gore before they got their bearings. Three jumped to either side and aimed lasguns down the way, firing. Two of the mercenaries got hit, one losing his head while another's arm was ripped off at the shoulder. Right then, Jerry slammed into the right side of the door, squashing the three there while Kairiel took his swig. Soon enough he was up and wielding his pistol like a pro (albeit a drunken pro). His pistol slammed three shots, one into each of the three on the left - burning deep holes in their armor - killing one leaving five now in the middle, in melee combat, and two wounded on the left. Unfortunately, Arissa didn't seem to be having much luck. As she dashed into the fray, she would suddenly just black out. In truth, her head had been smashed by a wide swing of the laughing Ogryn's ripper gun, knocking her back and out, bloodying her face. "Ooops... uh-oh." said the simple man-beast as he lumbered over to pick Arissa up and cradle her, ignoring the puny weapons biting at him.
Once the creature was unconscious and the collar exploded in the ork's hands Malrak laughed a little. All according to plan, if he actually had one at the moment that consisted of doing something other than what the captain had told him. He walked over to the unconscious creature and placed a hand on its head. He was going to attempt to peer into its mind and block out whatever entity had been controlling it earlier and take this creature for himself. Such a terrifying creature could make an excellent guard or even a possible test subject if he wished to start experimenting again.
Bluetoof was not pleased when his loot had been stolen away from him by a cruel explosion and then the weirdboy had run over trying to steal his kill too ?! Datsure as Zog wasnt happening ! "YA KAN TAKE MA LOOT BUT YA KAN NEVA TAKE ME KRUMPIN !!!!" Bluetoof bellowed as he shoved the Human weirdboy out of the way and jumped up bringing the wrench down onto the Unconcious Rak'gols head.
Malrak steadied himself after the brute's shove and extended a hand and through slight manipulation of kinetic forces made the Ork's would be finishing blow miss. Of course he would make the dull creature think he hit it and continue his investigation after the greenskin moves on. If he questions why he will have the very same creature following him later he would say some random magic sounding nonsense the ork is bound to believe.
Taking cover behind Jerry, Vex was glad Tau got suddenly spray and ready for action, even though it came at a price - his battle supply of alchohol. With an experts eye and lifelong experience he quickly scanned the dead and dying over the room, measuring his future inventory. Stabilizing his forearm with a palm of his left arm, he let loose a deafening staccato of fire at the five remaining Guardsmen. As the struggled with the massive recoil of the macrostubber pushing his entire body`s weight against it, he aimed at their legs - his goal to incapacitate them and not outright kill them.
@BadDo9 | @High_Adept_Zeth | @Keidivh Kairiel roared, his influenced brain not able to stick to one language he blurted in spurts of Gothic and Eldar, making an awkward hybrid language out of it that probably only him understood as he unleashed another volley of three shots, his thoughts escaping him as his face turned from blue to a kind of purple especially around his head-slit. His footing was at best shaky as it almost looked like he was dancing. Albeit it seemed to keep him a bit safe from being shot. He ended up with his shoulder leaning against some person, thinking it was a wall that prevented him from falling, trying to maintain his shooting at the best. Yet, everything just began to blur more and more. The usual kind-hearted Tau also was completely oblivious to the mishap of the Ogryn and the accidental damage inflicted upon Arissa.
Varl shook his head. There were some crude synthetics that could be made from what was left of the glassened one, but he did not think that the work involved would justify his trouble. The dead were not going to be in short supply, and he was holding out for some more unusual specimens. He glided forward, looking over the two unconscious Humans briefly before replying. "No, thank you, Ma'am. Unless one of them turns out to have an aptitude for obedience and a steady hand," he added, thinking of some kind of assistant for the more menial tasks one couldn't leave to a Servitor. Then again, most Humans lacked the delicacy of touch and speed to work with an Eldar. "Please do with them as you will." He took a deep breath, sipping on the departing soul-energy of the corpses as it fled.
Being thrown out of the nice corridor by a frag grenade that hurt her in several places where her Rig failed to protect her, Saven quickly got up from where she had landed. She stowed her heavy weapon given how close she was to the fighting and felt that something akin to a Heavy Stubber wasn't going to be that useful. Instead, she drew forth her pistols which were effectively modded to be autopistols, and started firing on whoever she could clearly see was hostile. Particularly if the aforementioned hostiles tried harming Goramor.
