< @Uriel1339 @High_Adept_Zeth > The troops in front of Vex would all look to a bear of a man, the largest human of the bunch - not counting the Ogryn. There was as well an Eldar with what looked to be a twin-linked shuirken catapult and two more humans with lasguns whereas the leader had a shotgun. He spoke up to Vex and shook his head. "There doesn't seem to be any other way to get to where we need to go, and so far we haven't been able to raise anyone - as if our comms are being jammed. The cadian looked up at Kairiel, meanwhile, and growled a little with a shake of his head. "You lied, ya know. Ya said you were in the employ of a Rogue Trader..." then he smirked a little. "Ya got guts and talent, I give you that. In any case, that turret has been hardwired - I saw it sparking. Tarantula, but its programming's been overridden. And I think it's damaged, too. We could probably destroy it with that." he nods to the pulse pistol. "The las wouldn't do much to it." he said, speaking with the knowledge of someone who was once a soldier. "After that, what the techie said would work. Keep a shield up, charge 'em."
<Way before> Saven smiled as the snakeman slithered around her and caressed her chin, duly enjoying the enclosure of him moving around her. She stretched herself vigorously in anticipation before she said to Goramor "Well, I'm sure you're not going to forget me and my performance either." <Before> Listening to the Captain's talking about the mission which was a simple smash and grab upon an Imperial Station (and the opportunity for vengeance, something she approved of), Saven blushed at Goramor's comment over booty. She was now suited up in her Hunting Rig for the mission, putting a helmet on so that she could cross the void without annoying issues like the lack of air to breath normally. <Now> Once she was over and done with being told what she was going to do as part of the mission, followed by the whole getting on board the station part of the mission, the Spyrer looked to her companions of Searus and Goramor as she said (@Tamu , @Wata ) "Well, if you ask me we're better off taking the more direct route to the motor pool, purely because I don't want to have to deal with them having the time to get their hands on their vehicles."
@BadDo9 @Uriel1339 Prepared to kicked down the door with the rest of the mercs, Vex prepared himself for the firefight to come. It should be a brief one considering they had the element of surprise, of course he`ll tend to avoid the battlelines, thats what these mercs are here for. If you need anyone good at dying, it would be these sorry blokes. Taking out his visor from his portable container and tossing it on the ground, lest it gets damaged in the firefight, Annie positioned grav-container Jerry next to the doors intending to go with his plan by, Cadian`s words only encouraging him. "Techie has a name. Also...Tarantula?" he said with a croaking whisper "Damn, that one is nasty. So Jerry and me draw their fire, Kairiel overcharges the turret and you guys mop `em up. Sounds good. Lets go!"
Malrak had several things to say about being put on a team with the ork. But unfortunately his opportunity for complaining was cut short when the mission had actually begun. With the sudden entrance of a very aggressive Rak'gol Malrak had several questions. But he felt subduing the creature would prove more effective than being angry and confused. So he reached out into the simple beast's mind and attempted to dominate it.
Goramor stretched his sword arms and twirled a pistol in one after making it inside. Glancing at both of his colleagues. "Through the thick of it then? Well, what are we waiting for?" He replied to Saven, killer instinct coming on strong. He was all for her suggestion.
@BadDo9 @High_Adept_Zeth @Keidivh Kairiel blinked at the Cadian then looked at his pulse pistol, then over to Vex and Arissa, then back to the Cadian. "I don't really do the shooting thing..." He admitted with shame. The water caste learned much to hide and derail from true emotions, but this was not a trade - this was a warzone. Something he had little experience with and even less comfort. "And neither do I really hand it over..." He scratched his slit on his forehead gently, but then offering it to the Cadian with hesitance. "But I suppose I owe you, after all we are putting a father's life on the line here..." He sighed heavily, his hand trembling a bit.
@Maleth @Wata “Fine with me but if we find a servitor I might be able to get it to tell us a more roundabout way so we can be more efficient in sneaking behind them and giving them all a heart attack hehe, that or finding someone to tell us a possible way. The changes of them having the front entrance guarded is high and I would hate to ditry the machine spirits bodies with guts and gore, the war like machine spirts like those but most either don’t care or dislike it” replied searus
Felana was semi silent as the mission began wondering for several moments why the captain picked them her and Malrak to shut down the security station with the ork Saying nothing she followed with her team, and was quite surprised when they met there first enemy, Spotting the group of troopers first she raised her Sniper rifle only to see a greater surprise of a Rak'gol, "Oh FRAK" Felana said as she saw the creature running straight towards them, Raising her rifle and getting beside Malrak She took aim for its center body of mass and read lights and began firing "Warps bells hey @bossaroo Ork think you can wrestle down that big fella and and bring him down?" Felana asked as she kept firing.
Sucking on the recaf candy that Kai had given her - from where he procured it, Lach did not know, but it did not matter anyway. She was thankful nonetheless, especially given that it seemed like the action had found their merry squad of four. The bulky hands of voidsuits were not made for her small laspistol or rapier - not that there was much point to fencing while wearing a Emperor-knows-how-many-kilos-suit - and even if they were, the fact that the middle finger of each glove she was wearing was occupied by two of hers - the fused flesh not allowing properly wearing the blasted things. This all combined made Lach quite clumsy, and, more importantly, quite helpless while she watched her captain gun down one of the Imperials. Quietly, she prayed for her shield to not abandon her now.
Varl was not a great fan of mass slaughter, though it had its place. That was what Kaballites were for. Or Wracks. But he wasn't unarmed or without 'violence solutions'. He aimed his hexrifle at the nearest enemy and took a careful shot, using the side of the corridor as a sort of partial cover. The effects of the hexrifle. should it hit, would be dramatic - possibly enough to break enemy morale and cause the opposition to flee. [ http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Hexrifle ]
