The two Spyrers would have seen Lach coming, but as for the Tau's part...

Unbidden, and with a somewhat-alcohol-reinforced cheekiness, a well-trained sword arm was slung around Kai's neck and shoulders from the side. "There's my favourite trading genius", she spoke with a calm happiness to her voice that didn't match the brash, brazen gesture. "You missed a great brawl, Kairiel... but I see you're already setting up a private one?"

She enjoyed teasing the alien. But for the matter of the Spyrers...

"That's amazing!", she exclaimed at the backstory. "So noble mercs? With super armour? The Imperium never fails to provide interesting characters." The Tau was released, and Lach gently stroked over her headband. "Kirsten Lach. Call me Lachesis! I'm the Navigator of this beautiful ship, and I'll glad to ensure your safety when we leave cozy realspace." She extended both hands in greeting, one for each sister, showing off the fused fingers on each hand.

Saven stuck closely with her sister throughout the walk and when she sat down at the mess hall she also took the liberty of taking a meal for herself and Arissa. Looking at the ship, she couldn't help but feel that she was going to enjoy her time here, and that wasn't to do with her covertly checking out the crew for who else stood out to her as a choice of partners in nocturnal activity.

While her sister waved to others whom she hadn't yet formed an opinion about (aside from the Sslyth, whom the Noble. did want to know in more depth), there was the introduction of the Tau and the Navigator to herself and Arissa.

Firstly she said to the Tau ( @Uriel1339 ) "Yes, Arissa's right. Granted, my own Rig is a different kind to my sisters, given that my weapons.. Well, I can have one type of gun one moment, and with a few tweaks later, it's a different weapon. Good to see you Kairiel."
The Spyrer then turned to the Navigator ( @Casavay ) and said "Well nice to meet you as well Lachesis, hopefully we'll have smooth travels on the road ahead."She didn't exactly feel inclined to pry into the business of a Navigator, given their responsibilities and all.

Kairiel just smiled as the arm was thrown around him, not having been the first time, especially after victory drinks. "Ah Kirsten. Came to also greet some of our new members, I see. And do not sell yourself so short. Without you, truly we would be lost in the dimensions of travelling beyond realspace. You truly are a key to our success, the eye in the void where all we would see madness, you can find the beacons of light to make sure the Hanatari and it's valuable crew may arrive where desired." The Tau responded to her, dismissing the statements about the brawl. A fire caste member might be more interested, although the 'private one' completely went over his head.

"Very intriguing. Sadly I doubt I would even understand through demonstration, Lady Saven. I may be capable of interpreting art, guess phonetics and even decipher languages. But the secrets and utilization of equipment is beyond my scope, for sadly in this instance - I was born as a member of the Water Caste." He responded to the seemingly younger sister, before speaking to Arissa once more.

"Therissia, mh? I have not yet heard of that world, ma'am." The Tau would blush from her cheek-cupping maybe if it was a fellow Water Caste members touch. And while physical interactions were a norm in conversation, but not that intimate. His instincts yelled to slap it away, but his discipline overrode such rude behavior.

"I'm more than certain that both of you fine ladies will be more than impressive. After all, I'm amazed already about your equipment. In due time both, Andros." He gave his lifter-drone a gentle touch on it's upper body. "and I will experience first hand what you truly can achieve. And I'm not surprised to see nobles to also act as warriors. I have seen Imperial Knights, not in person but you know. Archives." He cleared his throat a bit, starting to feel the dryness on his lips and in his mouth due to conversation.

"If you would not mind, I gladly would take some time with the two of you, in order to learn some customs of your house to properly treat and accommodate you. Potential needs for ritualistic items, special tools for your, what did you call it? Hunting Rigs. Just write a list of items down and I will see what I can do. I might be able - depending on our location - to pull some strings to import straight from your very homeworld, Therrisia. Would you be capable of marking it on a star map if I was to show you a galactic map?"

Kairiel spoke fluent in his low gothic and a genuine smile, rather than a forced negotiators' look. This is why he did in the past what he had done. These little moments of people communing, learning, experiencing new things of galactic civilizations that in traditional senses would be forbidden or impossible. That is what piracy was about - absolute freedom and individuality.

Searus excused herself from the scavangers presence before making her way to the one who had singled to them. Waiting for a bit until they and the others who had gotten there ahead of her a tau, some other human and a navigator talked there bit.
"Hi there" she said in a cheerful voice to arrisia.

"Well, thank you for the compliments, but I suppose the Tau don't exactly have much in terms people picking and choosing what they want to do, given that.... Water Caste thing you mentioned?" Saven replied, ( @Uriel1339 ) nodding at Kairiel's compliments towards being a Spyrer such as the gear and seeing what she and her sister could do.

However her face had it's good nature taken off over the mention of Kaririel getting items from her homeworld, which elicited her to say "Sure, I could mark it out on a map.... But given what happened to Therrisisa, you'd have to be incredibly skilled in order to find anything that hasn't been well... Destroyed." She paused, then darkly commented "There's a reason we're through with the Imperium."

    @Tamu (before Miss Electoria excused herself) @Uriel1339 @bossaroo @BadDo9 (and to whomever it may concern/want to be concerned);

For a moment, Vex didnt know if she was serious or just so used to being arrogant that it came off naturally to her. After scratching his shaggy hair, he decided its probably both in her case.

Picking up an iron food plate from a pile of greased ones, he picked up some faux-grox stew and a piece of nutritient paste to go with it.Picking a table that allowed him to have his backs turned toward a wall, Ananius 'dug into' the food with predatorial fervor of someone who hasnt eaten in weeks. Soon, even the slightly bent spoon was forgotten in favor of his calloused fingers that stuck out like oil-greased twigs from his fingerless mittens.

With a shrug, and a particulary audible swallow he added:
    "Hey...suit yourself."

"I understand that the general crew or specific parts may have knowledge on the daily maintenance and systems of the ship but are there any who poses true knowledge?”

With another shrug, his eyes still fixed on the food before him he added between gulps and swallows:
"True knowledge? For that you better have stayed on a Forge World. Apart from cogboys in Enginarium, i dont think anyone on this ship knows how to start a console, let alone appease a complex machine spirit."

"See the blue one that is drapped from head to toe in robes. The one with a drone that has been eyeballing us for a bit. She seemed to have a look of someone who knows a difference between a hot plate and a cogitator."
"Also Bluetoof knows which end of a spanner is which..." he said as the later one hollered:
OI ! EVERYGIT 'ERE !!! 'ERES A GIFT FROM DA CAPTAIN !!!" followed by shared bottles of liquor. Annie wolfed down the last of the grub, before returning with a holler of his own, his greased hands at his lips:

"Oi! Toss me one!" of course, he knew the drift with the ork and what he was concocting. However...good alcohol is useful for cleaning machines...

Bluetoof looked down at the techie and hurling a bottle at him "ERE YA GO !" Unfortunately the Orks aim was once again far from true, striking a near crew member in the face knocking him , Thankfully the bottle was intact "Sorry mate !" Bluetoof said jumping down from table taking the unconcious mans plate and the contents of his pockets before jumping back on a table chucking bottles of liqour again. "Me supplies runnin low, 'ow ya doing Mekboy ?"

Goramor cocked his head, his tongue tasting the air swiftly. "Don't think I've heard of you, any famous art pieces by Treleskan Varl, the Master Haemonculus?"
Goramor asked and savoured the taste of the fruit, taking leisurely bite out of it. He could just swallow it whole like the snake he is but that would ruin the taste and treat.
"You know, I was a model once for a Haemonculus...whatshisface...anyway can't remember. He wanted to make a Sslyth wrack out of your kind. I was the perfect specimen to model for him." Goramor said it proudly and bowed a little, arms spread in mock humility.
    "He was...somewhat successful."

"Why yes, you are right in your assumption, ma'am." Kairiel smiled over to the Spyrer. "We of the Water Caste are traders, diplomats and generally learn languages very swiftly. It is the way our education is constructed. Similar to how your military academies bear warriors, while your Schola Progeniums bear officers and elite warriors." He continued to smile, proud of his extensive knowledge.

"As for your homeworld, I must assume the worst then? I apologize, I have not known. I often am reminded that the Imperium is not gentle to their own worlds. I heard only of Pavonis, for example. It truly is sad. I merely hope it was not devoured by the Great Devourer?" He re-directed from his own question immediately, however.

"But let us not think of the bad in the past. Where else might I be able to get then spyrer gear? I have contacts across the Imperium, even though their prices might vary, it is my duty to keep everyone here outfitted. Alas, not everyone is as easy as Bluetooth." He gestured to the Ork (@bossaroo ) in the distance.

"And greetings to you, Priestess of Mars. I see you already made acquaintance with our beloved Ananius Vex. I'm certain you two will get along splendidly!" Kairiel bowed and then offered his hand to the red-robed individual.

Varl thought for a moment. He didn't feel the need to boast of his accomplishments, but the proud Sslyth was someone from home and the conversation was a pleasant reminder of those times. Not that he couldn't go back; but the Haemonculus wanted to travel. He'd got the bug.

"I am sure he did an excellent job with such a useful reference," he said, taking a sip of his wine. "And as for my work -"

"Have you ever taken delivery of a secure message? Sent a payment through a trusted messenger? Looked to the skies?" The terms trusted and secure were relative, of course, but even in Commorragh there were some reasonably reliable methods, if one paid enough.

"I make Scourges." Treleskan let that stand for his accomplishments.
