Three, it will take three Krak Grenades to the ass of a Wave Serpent/Falcon to destroy it, as each one deals 2000 damage and the Wave Serpent/Falcon have around 4600 HP (iirc). I recommend the Grav-Gun + 2 Krak Grenades combo, as it will work very well against most target in a match against Eldar.
I know that other races sometimes abuse their transports too by placing them in unintended locations. But let us be honest - all those cases are reported and easily dealt with by fixing terrain to make sure this spots are unaccessible. The problem with Eldar exploit is that it breaks balance between troop transports. You all know that Troop transports do not possess weaponry to damage each other so in case of 2 transports clash they rely on infantry to deal with the other side. Normally when you notice enemy rhino/wagon parked next to yours you switch to /call in melta loadout and either force it to withdraw or force it to disembark and engage your infantry with their infantry. Meaning 1 person can't create that much of a problem to enemy troop transport without disembarking from theirs and engaging it with melta weaponry. You can also easily relocate. With Eldar it is completely different - 1 player sitting in his transport on top of yours racks up kills and can't be countered with just one man exiting rhino with melta and krak grenades - I tested it. At best you can throw 1 grenade per spawn with ~ 10s spawn delay it will take you ~30-40 s to destroy it. While all the while it denies use of rhino. So I repeat again, why Eldar should be allowed to harass enemy troop transport with theirs to the point of countermeasures requiring a dedicated 4 man AT group or dedicated Predator just to counter 1 person in troop transport?
With what efficiency? I remember them getting large nerf in that field to the point that it is hardly ever used unless to deal that finishing blow. So most drivers prefer to cover their meltagunner/ rockitlauncha from enemy infantry than try to scratch enemy transport.
Use your bloody grav guns ya Mon-Keighs. Or maybe i should just create a thread titled 'yet another LSM abusing eldar game mechanics cause they cant win'. In said thread i will appeal to the devs to remove grav guns, and buff the eldar grav tanks back that 40% health they got nerfed last time.
Because you suck at the game so hard that you don't have skimmer hardcounter loudouts ready, don't know where to park your transports, don't know how to leave on the safe side and need 3 other muppets to counter single player from non LSM faction?
Another Blind Eldar joins the fray. I repeat yet again, personally for you. It's not that you can't counter that abusive tactic. It's about how much resources or time you need to counter it. Far more than against any other Race. Because you can't just solo exit with Grav/Melta gun, krak grenades and blow that tank. Because if you solo exit you'll die 2 seconds later. At best you might be able to stick 1 krak grenade to it before it squashes you. Upon encountering that exploit I put a lot of effort to figure how it can be countered, what works and what doesn't work. So why Eldar post useless advices that won't work for reasons already explained in this thread? And why always with condescending tone of "learn to play"? It all just makes me more convinced that a lot of Eldar players are eager to lie, decieve and insult just to keep a few exclusive exploits they can abuse.
