This argument has been done over and over so much that's it's tiring to even look at now.

That's all we can hope for. That's the main reason I'm not buying any of these. I'm not paying $35 when we don't even known how they work in game.

That blue claw stuff does not add to epicness, moreover it is looks impractical and generally inappropriate on a spear.
And is this thing's heft (plain and dull beyond measure) stuck in a cup, as a pinnacle of the Eldar craft??

It doesn't tell if the spear can be thrown (as in fluff and table)...

Kind of weird because is power weapons the ones that you spect to punch trough armour...

I asked Brent about this, it's not confirmed to be able to throw singing spears at launch but it's something they want to add.

Dio says that Power Weapons do punch through armor, but they don't pack a stronger punch than non-power melee weapons. Their effect is only in ignoring armor. At least that's how I got it)

I think there is too much over reaction to the AP descriptor to this thing.

Who is to say there isn't melee weapons that will be in the game that are superior or equal to this one?
We really don't know anything mechanically let alone how AP/damage to Armor/Health ext works yet, so no need to get all worked up.

Now if I am going to spend $35 for 2 items I actually expect those items to be equal to top end items in the game.

So the spear has better AP functionality, thats fine as long as it is equal to other top end spears.

I honestly don't like any of the Eldar weapon art though.

Yes as well, I would be all for seeing the Relic models greatly improved.

Out of all the factions gear, I think SM has the best looking items. Sure hope they rework / improve their appearance.
