    It would seem he has done all that is needed for the project at this point in time storywise, so his departure isnt pre-emptive.

    from what I understood from the Ivan migration is that Ivan is the freelancer and Graham is full time writer.

    As someone pointed out to me, everybody is saying that Mr. McNeill is leaving GW but he doesn't work for GW, he works for BL.
    And Mr. McNeill has said that he will keep on writing for BL. He's even said that since he was there for the beginning of the HH novels, he'd like to be there for the end of them.
