thats like the thing with 5 orkboys for 1 SM it was just mentioned to explain why someone can be a wraithguard and after this is dead he can be something else cause you are a warlock in the background which is controlling the wraith but this warlock does not really exist as char actually (but yes there will be a warlockclass ) oh and all classes which are shown on the artworks will make it to the game but maybe not as starter class (like the choosen of the CSM)
Wait so let me get it straight, there are starter classes for each faction and you unlock more as you rank/level up? I wonder if Wraithguard will be an upgrade for a Warlock, if so you'll see my Spiritseer around the battlefield quite often, otherwise i'll be one of the Ghost Warriors blasting apart enemies with my Wraithcannon~
My understanding of horizontal levelling was you had everything. That means you buy the faction you want to play as and get everything.
it means that you unlock stuff as you go, but nothing is strictly better than anything else. you DO have to unlock things though--like wraithguard/wraithswords.
Those in the path of the witch/warlock (whatever they were calling it) will be allowed to don the wraithguards soul after they become experienced and that option is opened up. Who knows maybe this will include the lords further down the path?
Dunno how I feel about wraith lords and dreaghnouts, they are pretty cool but they are designed to decimate infantry and this is an infantry based game...
