Well, apparently Miguel implied the other day we might not see terminator style classes at all. To which my reaction was something like However, if they are implemented, I would expect that they would need the same loadout options available to the terminator classes of other races, which are extensive. SM and CSM terminators, along with big meks, generally carry both ranged and CC weapons at the same time and have a tremendous number of them to choose from. Even with Wraithblades included, they might have to actually make up some weapons to match that level of selectivity, and they'll still have to be balanced differently since they can only be either ranged or CC at any given time. The moral of the story is that Eldar are horribly complicated and the devs probably hate us.
3 more classes, skimmers, male and female army, a totally different artstyle... the least faction is the more complicated one. BTW it wasn't Miguel the one who said that, it was in an interview with David Ghozland, Steven Lumpkin and Ivan Murkeen... I wonder what will happen with wraithguard, we already saw an early (very early) model.
It's a very weird choice if they don't. Not giving a power upgrade to infantry dramatically reduces the ability to perform resource-based tactics indoors, and reduces the coordinating power of strikeforces. Regardless of what people say, I really like the "MAX crash" as a concept - it's an entire guild of people coordinating resource use to spike the pressure on a defense and fracture it. Not including that infantry vehicle equivalent could actually end up being a balance issue.
