Alright seeing it seems Wraith Warriors are going to be in the game, how would they be used? If Iyanden is one of the craftworlds instead of Saim-Hann that would suggest Wraith Warriors as a game unit. Seeing in the fluff Wraith constructs are guided by a Farseer / Warlock how would they work in the game? Would this be some kind of special NPC summon you can use? Like for example (I'm not sure how the rewards system works) if you have the ability to call in a unit of Wraithguard to assault an outpost would you just set them a way point and attack on sight command. How could this NPC element be adopted into the game? Also could you instead summon in 1 Wraithguard / Wraithblade instead? Wraith General
Well, wraiths as playable characters is, in my opinion, out the window. When I see a construct containing a dead soul of an eldar, I dont want to also look at it jumping around and shooting randomly. They are supposed to be mostly unresponsive, and that is what NPCs can do!
What about the larger constructs such as Phantom Titans or Wraith Knights which are piloted? Who would be able to control such a thing?
I apologize I just realized that the craftworld poll on the front page isn't an official thing. This is therefore all crap and I apologize
It has been discussed at length in other threads, and it comes down to making sure they operate as they should. If you expend sufficient faction resources to produce the wraithguard, there's no reason we couldn't have them, but it would require coordination to make any use of them. They'd be slow, turn slow, slow-firing, inelegant and effectively unable to take cover and without a seer nearby, they would probably have to suffer some major debuffs. It would probably be set up sort of like getting into a killa kan, a dreadnought or similar medium. And although I doubt they'd remove those options, that only really guarantees wraithlords as an option. It's doable, but that doesn't guarantee them a spot in the game. As for Phantom Titans and Wraithknights? We have heard that there are no plans for titans or titan-class equipment in the game as of yet, so there is no reason to expect them.
