I agree. I love Miguel. He really sold the concept and the team to me. He's kind of the spirit of EC even now. Making a great 40k game where the consumers are treated like people. Nathan really is like a warmaster figure. He wants things done well and efficiently. Like we had all this stuff with Miguel that was great and built on the idea of EC as a new kind of game development with total transparency. Now Nathan is shaping and trimming everything into something manageable, something that can work. I say Miguel and Nathan but it's the whole team, of course. But we've shaped the game a ton already. Even if they went blackout right now, the community would have left a big mark on the game.
yeah thats the upside of it. but if you look at the amount of new threads, or rather lack of them, and the amount of people sifting through each (relatively) little news update etc, you could deduct things are a bit slow.
I think it's mostly because people are tired of SM and CSM arena fights. We're waiting for the tanks and the xenos, and they aren't ready. Not much to be done about that, so things will probably be quiet for a little while as they work. But it's not like it would go any faster if they were telling us every week that they aren't finished yet.
well I wasnt sure, thats why I checked, it seemed like you were elaborating my own point to me, so I thought i'd let you know, thats all.
