Since they mentioned here somewhere around the release of the newsletter a "Founder's Program" for this / next month I am so hoping we get beta access! Because I am so gonna pay for that and I want beta access, screw special rewards, just gimme betaaaa EDIT: I always report issues during a beta if found, but sometimes the developers really ignore them. Like one of my friend he had found plenty of game-breaking or unbalanced like hell bugs / glitches and reported them, but none of them were changed till like 1.3 or 1.4 update. (don't remember game though)
I would pay for beta with or without rewards, i have money arranged just to buy these kind of stuff, besides im bored of mmos nowadays so none would compete for my wallet
Damn you for beating me to it! But back to the main issue, my main concern with beta are the same as Valkr and Whiskey previously mentioned. Some people seem to think a Beta is an early acces full product.
Easy quick and accessible feedback procedures can make a lot of difference , even if people got in just to play . WoW procedures are very effective because they are simple Dull long reports are best assigned to people who gets paid to test, ie. QA
But there's the problem. Often a fair amount of early access players do not report bugs/glitches. There is always a group who does and who make it a good option for developers.
Yes, under the condition that they refrain from metting it out with gimmicky founder pack items. No true fan would need the added carrot on a stick to crave a taste for this
You just described my beta applications for my whole life Needless to say I never got in =P Never mention wow in a beta application it brings bad luck
no. i'm really hoping for the best and looking forward to this game but no way would i pay for mere access to the beta.. sounds like a waste of money to me unless the full game was included in the end(pretty much a pre-order)
