I have Found 4 of these so far. Dead Shiny Shoota, Choppa , Slab slugga and Dakka Deff Gun. All of them have no noticeable mods added to them but cost an additional 100 LP. I have also found on my chaos side, a Master craft Force Sword which is a clear +20 Warp Charge. Whats up with Ork Shiny Dead weapons? Are we getting jipped for an extra 100 LP?
Pretty much for the moment. This next week's patch better be a doozy, because right now there's so many itemisation issues. As far as I am aware, you're paying 100 LP for a gold paintjob at present when it comes to Ork weapons, although a few have some recoil reduction, like the Dead Shiny Shoota (I think).
Dead Shiny, like Mastercrafted, is bugged on most weapons. The guns seem to get a very slight amount of horizontal recoil reduction, but definitely nothing in line with the 100 LP other than the very flash skin. I hope a patch soon fixes these because I really want to justify being able to use them on my Bad Moons Ork.
I think they are gonna get a new pass on their stats as at most the guns have less recoil (tho I still use them, Fashion Crusade! amiright?)
The Ded Shiny Choppa has a ludicriously fast strong attack that i use of on a regular basis because upgraded correctly its just death incarnate ( though i recently obtained the Rokkit launcha and i remember the fun times i had with that )
Many Dead Shiney (or mastercrafted) have effects that aren't properly shown on the stats page. The dead shiney knuckles get extra durability to clashing, while ranged weapons usually have reduced recoil or better accuracy.
Dead shiny shoota has very high rate of fire and 60 clips magazine, if i remember correctly. I use it with my shoota boy and it works very well when it comes to close quarters combat against enemy tacticals and assault classes. I simply outdakka everyfink, nothing can stand against such RoF in close combat.
Dead shiny shoota has the same rpm as a normal shoota.... Are you thinking of da rodeo shoota? Which is a masterwork of orky mek tech?
Wot ar u grots talkin about? For da meesly price of 100LP ya get ta av da flashiest shoota, choppa or even clubba. Wot a bargin! I stik em on cus I like bein da flashiest git on here, even if dey dont do nuttin gud!
