Hah, nice. I think Argel Tal's journey was even more interesting, and tragic. Aurelian is one of the few books that I haven't read on the subject, and I don't really feel like reading now that I'm studying and reading all day.
Hail my brothers. I just started the horus heresy series--finished the first book. next series is going to be word bearers omnibus!
I think you'll enjoy the Omnibus. though I would, personally, suggest reading the individual books. Dark Apostle, Dark Disciple & Dark Creed. The cover art for each one is amazing. Just my two cents.
I'll consider it--though that's a bit more expensive than just buying the Omnibus... Also--which book details how Erebus rose to chaos? I know that he was the first, and enlightened Lorgar, but how was he himself enlightened?
It's partially covered in First Heretic, not so much that he was the first, but he was a proponent of searching out the true gods after their faith in the Emperor was shattered, guiding Lorgar to seek the path that would lead to the Eye of Terror.
You're in for the ride of your life, battle brother, enjoy one of the greatest tales ever written in Warhammer
I would say Kor Phaeron was equally influential, he kept the Old Faith with him even during the religious wars and was much closer to our Primarch. Erebus might have been the most influential over the mighty Warmaster but not as much over Lorgar. That is my interpretation at least.
I have a question to all brothers of the word bearers: what would the word bearers be like now if Cyrene Valantion, aka "The Blessed Lady was still alive? I felt real sadness when the fuckstodes killed her.
