So I was almost certain that I was going to get a captains pack about an hour ago, but now I'm actually hesitant... I mean, I've been patient enough to wait for the release of these founders packs, I may just wait it out and see what the game turns into. If that rogue trader shop is going to be up, and the only thing I'm seeing that's "founder exclusive" (aka limited edition) are the bolters / shoota / whatever the heck the eldar thing is, what's the difference other than getting to play the game 2 months early? I thought that the packs would have something just a bit more juicy than "space bucks". Of course, if gameplay footage was released on what it looks like -- I may be swayed to reconsider waiting.... However, as it stands now, I'm probably going to be just a bit more patient. Early access is what I dream of, but I also don't want to sacrifice a cash cow to roll SNAKE EYES on what I get from said early access. And if you have ever played the tabletop version of 40k, 9 times out of 10, SNAKE EYES happens when you least expect it to. That possessed hero though... looks AMAZING!
inb4 everyone purchases a Legion of the Damned. Seriously, I'm tempted but I don't feel compelled to be the edgy teenager who has a Space Marine in flames. I'd rather wait for a more classy Hero.
All this said they REALLY need to optimize and clean up the website. Holy shit, this is like a barely function site! Definitely not mobile friendly (it crashed the browser app lol). Also disappointed that the majority of art assets are just from pictures we've seen :/. Behaviour are being as cheap as possible lol
The LoD used to be much more than just flame warriors.. now theyre just psycopath flame warriors when before they were the souls of past heroes. That was so much cooler. They went from one of my favorites to the garbage.
I guess this is also off topic? But i dont know what falls under woooohooooohoooooo...but did anyone else experience massive loading times in the main website page? Like loading the background images was immense I dont know if its a website coding issue or what but it took like 5 mins to load just saying.
