When the necrons become beings of flesh again i'm going to laugh when all the lords were actually women
  3. What I dont understand is the inability for some people to have a sense of disbelief. I know some people want to RP and such, but the other 95% of the game is just action and skill. If you can play as Mario, Crash Bandicoot, or any number of characters that arent exactly you, why not a Space Marine that barely says anything? I mean no one expects their character to have long soliloquies about their personal life do they? (Outside of RP) The most that you are going to hear from any one character is grunts of pain or a few caned phrases like FOR THE EMPEROR and such. Space Marines and Chaos Marines are just moving chunks of armor after all.

When people loose their cool over some text in the internet by people they will probably never know, you know its a sad day, come on most of you must be adults allready, who can think and argue in a mature manner.

  5. Sorry for breaking my pro-Tau recruitment campaign not even two posts in, but just to point out, IG regiments are usually very far away from their home planets, and they take females with them to help replenish the lost troops. These men/women are generally called "whiteshields," and I'm not simply referencing the mass unwilling conscripts. But it isn't illogical for the females who joined the regiment to fight as well, not just being the "breeding force" for reinforcements. Now I'm not even going to touch the female Space Marine thing with a ten-foot pole, but the Imperium has plenty of opportunities for females to excel in non-gender stereotype roles.

However the Tau have a female in the top military position, in addition to the normal troopers, so there is that, in addition to the eldar and the apparent equality evident there, so like another person said earlier (sorry, forget who), there is plenty of gender equality in W40K.

Though if I remember correctly, Space Marines are posthuman, so couldn't that make them beyond standard genders? They are not male, they are not female, they are not hermaphrodites. They are Space Marines. At least that's how I would see it.

No there are no Female Space Marines and they will not be added to cater towards an interest group. There are female Eldar and in the Future there will be Sisters of Battle who are part of the Inquistion.

Astatis Sororitus could be implemented, corrupted Sister sound cool, IG (Chaos or Imperial) have females, the Inquisition is a great place for female characters, heretics can be male or female, and of course the Eldar and their darker halves have females.

I am all for females being in the game, but I really don't see any excuse as to why there would be female Space Marines; currently they just do not excist. However, GW do have ways to implement them but in order for fans to accept it GW would have to make it so. For example, have you ever wondered why there are two missing primarchs? I have 2 theories after extensive research on the topic. One is that the one of the primarchs was entirely tainted by the warp or possessed at the time the Emperor found him. The second theory is that the primarch was too far mutated (even more so than Sanguinius and his angelic wings), which would not be a superior representative of the primarchs or the emperor himself. Another theory is that one of the primarchs was secretly hidden to form the Grey Knights secret green seed.

Now mutation is the main reason I bring my theories up. Maybe the mutation was a hormonal imbalance or a change to gender chromosomes. Maybe the Emperor wanted to hide this at all costs. I have always just wondered. Remember, these are just theories.

In any case, this is something GW would have to incorpetate into the IP. Most players are all about the lore and in this case the lore is controlled by GW. A female primarch would mean female Space Marines, and I don't see that as a bad thing.

One of the legions was destroyed. The Grey Knights weren't formed until the Heresy.
