Don't need mounts we got Tanks, Trukkas and Gravs. Afterall if you bring a Juggernaught I'll bring a Squiggoth then we'll see whose laughing.
You're getting desperate, cute. Can you even understand English at a decent level? We are talking about these things game wise, you think just because it lore its possible without any issue. Most people are saying the same thing I am on this thread, and the rest just derailed the topic(in an hilarious way ). Again, not gonna happen, sorry.
I think you should be ashamed for the person you are and how low you have sunk going as far as personal insults, not to mention the arrogance displayed in that comment. Who knows it might be the weed your puffing over there i am not sure, it has a way to mess with the cognitive functions of the mind.
Lol, says the guy who calls me an hypocrite and just used a stereotype to insult me, I'm not even dutch, bro. Welcome to the internet, you just lost an argument.
This joke of a thread is still going on? Let view cavalry point by point gameplay wise. 1) Functionality: There's three ways I see mounts working. 1) They function as actual cavalry. When exited they will attack on their own.--> Overpowered and will promote mass player zerging. If you played PS2 you'd know what a cheap and easy tactic this is. And specially how godamn boring it is to everyone involved. Not just that, it's difficult to implement, specially since the world will be a massive procedureraly generated world and AIs would require pathfinding to be coded in. It's just not a feasable workload for the devs for something that will only be available to a SINGLE SUBFACTION. 2)They function as vehicles with no extra AI added. As in: The godamn thing won't move once the rider leaves. Imagine how immersion breaking it is to shoot at a living animal and don't have it react. 3) They are summoned and desummoned as in WoW. This is just inmersion breaking and overpowered since it would allow Mounts to be summoned anywhere in the map, unlike vehicles that will apparently require factories. 2)Lore Let's be honest, just as the lore is awesome and epic at certain points, it can become equally stupid and badly written. If the devs decide to follow lore down to the smallest of details the only factions worth playing would be the smurfs and the nids. Gameplay cannot be scrapped in favour of the lore. 3) Balance If we take into account all suggestions made: ->They function as cavalry with independent AI: We already know know how the core gameplay is going to be like, with players actively dodging or blocking attacks. Having NPCs companions will break melee balance. -> They act as simple vehicles: This suggestion hardly affects balance. -> They are summoned and desummoned as in wow: You break troop transport
