Agreed, they promised to stick to the lore and they should, that means sanguine priests(with jump packs), wolf priests (that heal and buff), dark angels interrogator chaplains and ultramarines (vanilla sticking to the codex) maybe give them something else.

  2. I would make it nice and simple. Have their abilities be skill tree related. So they COULD do both but not as well as dedicated apothecaries/chaplains.

That would work really well me thinks

I prefer your suggestion to others mentioned.

  5. Balance in most videogames: That weapon is far to powerfull lets weaken it.

Balance in a 40k Videogame: That weapon is far to powerful. Lets weak- *BLAM* Give the other factions something equally powerfully.

Problem is apothecaries are already announced for all chapters, but no chaplains so balancing these two wouldnt work, also if a wolf priest hero is added then you have them plus standard apothecaries. The developers need to remove the apothecary class and go back to the drawing board as they only function lore wise to codex chapters.

And i really hoped we would have at least one class to be restricted to a chapter to make it worth while, for space wolves rune priests wouldn't be worth it anymore as they are generic librarians now, same for iron priest, so the options for a space wolves fourth class could be.

    Wolf Priest.
    Lone Wolf.
    Wolf Guard.

And even then one is HQ and the others Elites.

The best solution i think is to have the three standard, tactical, assault, devestator.
And have a good customisation option both in appearance and perks as well as equipment to allow players to create their own HQ/Elite character.
That way people can stay as true to the lore as they please, or not.
This would also open things up for the use of successor chapters, and is not focused soley on the wolves and therefore removes the enevitable cries of balance issues

It would take more time to make each faction have their unique lore wise classes but in the long run I think it would be worth.

"In essence, the Wolf Priests combine the roles and responsibilities carried out in other Chapters by Chaplains and Apothecaries, yet the rank is far more than the sum of those two roles."

    enough said :D

i think that the wolf priest in gameplay is an apothecary with some different abilities, but basically the gameplay will be similar to an apothecary.
