Im going to be maining Chaos regardless of anything that comes out, having in mind that Deamonhost will probably be integrated into them when its time for the deamons to take the stage. My other love are the Nids, followed by the Imperial Guard/Lost and the Damned. And when they come out ill have an alt in the two of them (well if Nids ever do come, its still not a closed door by what Brent said). From the current factions, while knowing them all very well, im probably not gonna play any of them. Ive been battling altoholism for quite some time now, and its receding nicely, dont want it back. Perhaps ill try a Warlock but i doubt ill put any noticeable time into him.
I've always been an orks fan. I'm going to begrudgingly have a space marine alt to play with my organization though. Ugh.
I intend to play all races at some point. I won't be playing marines until long after the game's release, when the population has hopefully evened out abit, Orks will be my main race, and I look forward to playing Chaos too as I have a small Word Bearers Warband of my own for the table top. Eldar will be interesting for me, I don't know a whole lot about them. They're probably my least favorite of the starting four, but I still look forward to playing them.
I love Orks and will play them but would play Tyranids if I could. Also would like to see Dark Eldar and Tau
I'll be playing Chaos, but as of an Ork army in TT I picked up fairly recently, I find them to be hilarious and one of the most fun armies around currently. I'll definitely give playing Orks a go, if flash gitz are a progression path I'll be hell bent on wearing a pirate hat, smoking a cigar, and firing an ENORMOUS gun. I intend to make green stuff cigars on most of my Bad Moons Orks.
I'm a Tau player, however I will most likely play as a Word Bearer until the Tau come to the game. I might play as an Ork for the Bad Moons since I've always liked that clan (And Blood Axes and Freebooterz, but they ain't in the game, yet). Space Marines just bored me since they are the poster boys, The only time I play as SM's is when I make my own custom chapters. I'm also an IG player, but if they are Cadians/Cadian clones, I probably wont bother with them (Seriously, there are hundreds of thousands of IG armies out there, each with their own unique culture and tactics, yet we seem to get the same regiments all the time)
I'm an Imperial Guard player but it was easy for me. I collect a lot of different armies an the IG has mostly just been my favorite. I love Black Templars so Spacemarines were leading the race. No World Eaters so that rules them out for me as they are the main Chaos Chapter I like. I despise the Eldar. And I've always hated those types of races lol. I can see myself keeping an Ork Character on the side because its just hard to not have fun when you're an Ork. But yeah well bugger me I'm always leaning to the Imperial side of everything so being a loyalist is an easy choice.
I'll be playing Space Marines mostly. Blood Angels to be exact. I'll probably play Eldar as my second, and Orks occasionally. I may try Chaos during the Beta (doubtful). If I do that character will be erased and any RTP spent on him retrieved before that deadline is up. I'll also probably create a second Marine as a Space Wolf, just to use the nifty Fenrisian Ax.
I gotta have one of each. And until I've played one of each I wont know who sync's with me. I know I love Orkz. I've played Space Marines and always enjoyed it, so solid choice there. Chaos just ...heck yeah...sorcerer geekout! Sooo looking forward to playing a fully developed Chaos game. But the Eldar I had written off. Then I realized , how many games I've played where I wanted to be one thing and then tried what I thought I would hate and found myself enjoying the most. So I will have an Eldar as well. and I will probably wind up sticking with my ONE OF EACH philosophy..and playing the different factions in different styles as the mood hits me.
