It's also how arguments break out, say someone comes into a 200 per side battle with 75 guildies and styles themselves as a general because they are a guild leader, it will take a lot of diplomacy to get the loose players and 2-3 smaller guild groups to accept that that person should lead. I foresee the same problem in this as in every other PvP game I've played, a large force consisting of multiple raid groups, none of which are working together and lots of loose players that don't get invited to any of the raid forces due to no being guild members. This is the sort of thing we need to prevent, which is one of the reasons why I advocate open raids that individuals and guild groups can join (even if it is a large guild running the open raid).
I mentioned no clan name or details. If it is advertising, then it is really bad advertising. If people are interested, they will click the anonymous link, if they are not interested they will know better than to click the link. I see no harm in leaving such a thing behind that would normally be included in my forum signature, if I had one. A lot of people do know what a multi-gaming community is, yes, but there are still a few that do not know or know but it never occurred to them to maybe join such a thing before. For the people that want to play solo, I would encourage you to at least follow a group around and see if the game feels more fun with a pack or alone. I can tell you from experience that saving up resources to buy a tank, only to come face to face with a group that has ground and air support is not fun. Being is such a group can be awesome and will bring you back to the game for more awesome fun with your mates. Best regards, WNxAkalonian
I run a Chapter/Clan/Guild/whatever you want to call it, I find there are many bonuses in having a group of people to play these kind of games with, not only tactically but it also adds more fun and excitement to the entire game. It adds to the experience when you have people to support you, help you take objectives and have a laugh along the way.
There can be, it would depend though on how much of the game is open world and how much is instanced, if a lot of the game is instanced then being in a guild is a must to get groups and raids going. If it's open world then there should be enough open world raid groups to join.
I really how to join a strike team but if it doesn't work out a will solo for a bit. Depends on te commander mostly.
Im coming with my community as a guild whom i play with for... oh god... almost 8 years now! (damn, thats a long time) But I also would like to play with the rest of the community, seen enough nice fellas and gals around here i could enjoy gaming with.
