I don't know all the box give outs but do we get that bolter sniper gun too? If not may I ask why, since we are basically traitors of SM and it seams like bolter with scope vs a SM with that sniper bolter, SM wins each time. I try single shot on full auto and burst and they kill me each time so any tips or tricks?
Pretty sure the only boltgun CSM gets that comes with a scope standard is the Umbra Ferox relic. Reason why they don't have the same medium ranged weapons being that Chaos is more melee focused.
Few things.. 1.) CSM don't have Stalker Bolters (the Sniper Bolters). The reason is that the LSM are supposed to be more ranged-focused than CSM. CSM of course, should be more melee focused. While lore and TT may disagree...this is more for a gameplay balance standpoint to add flavor to each faction. 2.) Take it from me, a scope on a Bolter is practically useless. In addition, a Stalker Bolter is pretty horrible right now due to the current accuracy mechanics of the weapon. It's still usable of course, but...it's iffy on if it actually has an advantage to capitalize on. 3.) The "Sniper Bolter", which is called the Stalker Bolter, does more Damage per shot than a standard Bolter, and has a much lower Fire-Rate. The reason you are losing your engagements is because you should be firing full-auto or full-auto-burst (if you are skilled enough with your finger), to engage a Stalker Bolter. In addition, you should keep ADADing, because the only way a Stalker Bolter will reliably put you down is if they get headshots on you. They won't get those headshots if you juke them enough. With two players of equal skill, the Standard Bolter will beat the Stalker Bolter, at least the vast majority of the time.

Honestly if you want to snipe as a CSM? Use an Auto Cannon. Those things are crazy accurate if you take your time with each shot, doubly so if braced, and can one shot someone if you manage to hit them in the head. I snipe with it all the time and vastly prefer it to using the Las Cannon for such things (And way, way more prefer it to every variant I can come up with of the Stalker Bolter on my LSM)
I know during either alpha or beta chaos has stalkers but were removed. Honestly we have autocannon so until we get a scope for it "op thread incoming" we will have to wait
If you guys don't want your stalker bolters now, I would gladly take mine back and show you how to use them again.
