Will there be servers which won't automatically flag you? I kinda only play PvE since i find PvP too stressful and majority of the time I'm too lazy to do it... I know about the underworlds but I'm just wondering if there will be missions and NPC stories (Also, would prefer to edit threads that i make so if i ever make a typo i can change it...)
No if everything goes well there will be only one server. But even if there will be more servers there will be no PvE only.
i think you get the wrong imagination of EC its not like a typical mmorpg like WoW and clones its more like a PS2 with RPG elements and melee combat in the wh40k universe no NPCs (at least not for storys) but i think it will be possible to only do PvE stuff but you might get bored cause it wont be that much you can do oh and he is right the plan is to only have one "servercluster" where all ppl of the world who play EC will play together!
no pve only server but i think is theorically possible to play only as pve but you lose almost 90% of the game.
Shame... Because, i was honestly looking forward to this game may have to give it a pass then but I'll probably stay on the forums since there is some fun to be had
The principal focus of the game is massive and dynamic world PvP between the factions. The only signifcant NPCs are the tyranids who will probably behave more like pseudo-players than your typical mmo mobs. The underworld is a mere fraction of the content. Though I am intrigued, what sort of PvE content did you envision? You mentioned missions, but these missions would be against what opponents? I mean all factions in-game will be almost 100% PC except the tyranids, ofc.
Thought this game would be a lot like The Secret World in the terms of world exploration, combat and missions... I still signed up for the Beta but I'm guessing since I'm already a nay-sayer that means getting into Beta would be doubtful... I don't know while i was growing up i used to be such a sore-loser and used to get stressed and angry when it came to competitive games so I kinda almost grown a phobia towards it and i try to avoid it since a lot of the time due to the fact my sleep cycles aren't great when i come home I just want to relax so honestly i tend to play Single Player games more often than not... I guess i've had too many bad PvP experiences and that created some kind of trauma that makes me avoid further PvP experiences although I will admit the comparison to Planetside 2 scared me a bit because i really dislike that game which possibly lessened my opinion of this game... Though all of this is just assumption based on barely any belief or the fact I'm a psychological mess ._. (Ironically really since i study psychology...)
