Imagine the presence of a black market where you can acquire tech from other races and only use them when people aren't watching.

I'd love to see anyone use Ork tech...considering no one but orks can make it work.

Xenos are anathema to the Imperium, They would NEVER use Ork technology even if they somehow could. Orks technology also only works whenever ork's wield it because of the psychic effect of the WAAAGH.

Anyway, as far as socializing is concerned there are really only a few places anyone should be able to do it in the form of a hub:

1. Your Strike Cruiser where you and your guildies can just hang out and draw up battle plans all day if you wanted.

2. In a base mobilizing for war, there will undoubtedly be people looking for squads to join, friends to be made, ect. Also, to help people get moving, I'd certainly love to see a LFG application that A. Finds an open squad near you, or B. Joins you with a bunch of people into a zerging strike force nearby.

3. On these forums. Its not like they're going away on launch day. If you want to be stupid and goofy or just waste a bunch of time, this is the place to do it.

I'm sure the territories that factions with have to defend will contain bases that will work as hubs.

People will most definitely be focusing on the war effort instead of purely "hanging out" but through this, as everyone is united in a cause friendships will be undoubtedly formed.
