Not sure if this has been asked before, I wanted to support the game but don't really feel like giving away $120 in one go, so I am thinking about buying the monthly subscription instead and paying $10 per month but I am worried that I will not get access to the game on release.

Can anyone kindly provide me with the info? I can't find any info on this in the FAQ or in the forum, most probably I missed it.

You can just buy the game for 40$ and be a founder.
You will get the whole game.
There is no need to buy anything higher if you only want to be in the Game

If you buy the $40 pack and then sub I believe the sub payments go towards upgrading your pack to the highest level once you your subs have provided enough points, so you can get the $120 pack through subbing but looks like you need to get the ball rolling with a $40 pack

Guess starting with $40 is reasonable, will wait for my next month paycheque to come before I do it.

@Jericho I highly doubt that. I don't think it upgrades your founderpack. I think it simply gives you the mentioned amount of Roguetrader points every month, for paying 10$ a month.

Which really only seems to be a good offer if you plan on buying the subsription for more than 6 months.
If you buy it for 6 months you get 66.000 points for 60$ and thats only a 10% boni. So you could just buy the Nob-bundle 2 times for exactly the same. Or you could buy the Boss-bundle for a 15% boni AND only a investment of 50$.

But at that point (if you have it for 7+ months) it seems to be a good deal, getting better and better even though it caps at 10+ months.


But if you don't feeld like spending 120$ right now, you can buy the 40$ pack and later UPGRADE it to the next higher thing.

but does that also work for the subscription? can you buy the subscription for 4 months in advance? Or how does it work?
