Honestly, I just want the option to straight up BUY the mods I want from the store as well, having to submit to a goddamn 1,000 REQ penalty every time I want to attempt to get a mod I might use is lame as hell and it means we're never going to be able to unlock all the mods that make some weapons worthwhile without playing for months, probably even years since the chances of getting what I want will be lowered the more items are in game... Just add an option for me to buy an Extended Barrel for the Bolter and a Stalker magazine separately for 1,000pts each, I don't mind the cost, I mind the fact that I'll potentially never unlock some mods simply because I hate gambling.
For me personally, I just want more information on what is actually in each level of box. It seems the first tier aka the 1k box is mods and reskins of the default weapons. But ive bought a bunch of 5k boxes too and they also seem to be the same deal with maybe a higher emphasis on the weapons. So as a player trying to finish a certain weapon kit. I would like to know which boxes I should be focusing on to get what parts of that kit. the 10k+ boxes seem to have the master crafted stuff (which still seems to be just reskins but more expensive for some reason. not sure what they do exactly)
Lol the OP said "MMO". LOlolololololol. Ya, its not an MMO and they need to remove that from the title screen, the steam store, and this website. Nothing about this game is MMO. Also Mass Effect 3 had Supply Packs similar to this game that you bought. EA still charged money if you wanted to buy stuff on your own but it wasn't hard to progress with the RNG. HOWEVER! Unlike this game, Mass Effect 3 had soooooooooooo much to unlock so you usually got something you didn't have. As well if you did get something that was a duplicate of something you owned you got rewarded for it still. You got bonus exp or something like that. So money was never wasted. In this I'm just going to save my money until they fix the loot system. It just doesn't make sense as is.
Your right but also wrong, with the MMO statement, This is a ShooterMMO, Not what most ppl think of bc most ppl think of MMORPG, which your right this is not, But this is a MMO, lets look at what MMO stands for Massive Multi Online Game, which this game IS, just not what most ppl are accustom to, bc ppl, like yourself think MMORPG like World of Warcraft or GW2. Try watching the weekly twitch Dev streams and you will see.
Simple really, Bandai and BHVR know they've screwed the pooch and "launch" is going to be a hilarious mixture of bad reviews and refunds. They'll keep the $50 price tag for a couple months to try and squeeze some more money out of it, then the game will go F2P like all failed "MMO" titles, then they will depend on RTC and the god awful RNG loot system to bleed whatever extra money they can out of the remaining fans who will drop serious money for the off chance of PHAT LEWT. In the off chance this becomes sustainable, overpriced DLC content will follow. At least Deathwing looks good.
We should make a community website that would be advertised through out the entire wh40k fanbase around the globe, it would contain the wall of shame - a detailed description of game developers and producers that screwed up with wh40k license and wanted to squeeze the players from the money not caring for the quality of their final product - therefore defiling the universe and lore we find awesome. tl,dr: Fuck you Bandai.
You'll get refund for dups in EC too, and that system isn't functional. Yes, you're right, it needs fixing ASAP. But is bE trying to screw with you? No.
First you (and others) make stuff up in this thread. Then you go on as far as shaming people about doing that stuff in the future.
