They use a bolter that nomnoms your soul...and a rubric sorceror is...a paradox? Its not possible and it makes 0 sence...(imo) Rubrics are what i like to think as the "jack of all trades" of the cult troops ,they are fearless ,they can take a beating and they can do some serius damage(against leaving targets ofc).while i wouldnt have a problem having them as "pets" for a sorceror hero i dont think that this is what BE wants to do with them.
i will say that they get excluded from everything for players in particular (Black Crusade RPG, only non-featured Cult-Troop through the DoW Series, etc) so it would be nice to finally get to be them
My bad i was using rubric sorceror as the term for the sorceror who leads rubric marines. It just seems to me that rubric marines are perfect to be used like that.
I think thousand sons could be a fun hero class. To me they seem kinda like the equivalent of loyalist legion of the dammed troops.
I am with you. thousand sons is the best legion "Knowledge is power, but power is nothing without purpose. You may hold in your hand the power to remake all things, but if you do not know what you would change, then you hold nothing at all." — Ahriman of the Thousand Sons
My loyalty switched to Chaos when I read about the Sons and what happened to them. For now I chose Black Legion until the Sons get their day to shine in the game hopefully. If the space puppies are in, then the Thousand Sons should be as well. The details can always be debated later, but they need to added. All is Dust!
I noticed that all four legions of chaos that are playable are Undivided. I dont know why they didnt just choose one legion per god, that way we could have World Eaters, Emperors Children and Thousands Sons, but they went with Undivided legions presumably because its easier than making more unique legions. The chaos undivided legions are basically interchangeable and can use the same models. God specific marines would require more work.
