I would much rather they spend their time making the game work better and have all the things they've told us it will, rather than a mostly meaningless stats page that they will have to divert manpower to in order to keep it working well. This stuff doesn't just magically appear through osmosis, and the game has LOTS of things that should take priority.
Yeah, the inability to view the last mission log I find strange. Also the profile pages here have a section for listing your 'heroes' and it's blank, I'm not sure what it's purpose is. But I figured it was suppose to be a place your heroes are display with various stats? The end game content is the leaderboard, stats and such. Specially in this type of game, that has not real end game content.
Well at least this is a substantive reason. But I doubt that it's a difficult thing, they already have an internal log, making a screen where you can check your own history does not strike me as an extraordinarily complex procedure, it's probably one of the simplest part of games. It strikes me as a pretty basic feature. Secondly, this is a UI thing, and the UI at least doesn't really need more work. My point being that it's not going to require someone working on Art Assets, Map Design, or any of those important thing, but someone who's job is basically done already. I think the name of the dev in charge of UI was Christine, and chances are she's at some other project rather than working on something else for EC, so I doubt it would have any real effect on development on other parts of the game. In any case, I would think it would be one of the smallest time commitments to add in for any feature.
You assume there is an argument needed to say that you don't want it. I can think of more games that do not have them, than i can think of games that do have them. Especially if we are talking about public personal stats.
In terms of things they can do, pulling data is one of the easiest (assuming their database actually tracks that information, which it should if they'd even thought about stat tracking before.) It'd take more work to modify the screens and add fields to display it, and that is also, IMO, fairly trivial. Normally I'm also like "There's other stuff that needs worked on" but this is a pretty low hanging request and gamers do use stats to inform themselves how they're doing in a multiplayer game. I don't think it's a useless feature.
Death stat would like nice to know mainly for fortress battles. Even if you only have a few kills, but are at 0 deaths, you're better than someone with 15+ deaths regardless of how many kills they have
Like many others, I think it shouldn't be in here. As an example I'll use cs go, People on those forums says if you have under 1000 hours your input or suggestions are invalid. Yes even if you have 500+ hours people still think you don't know what you're talking about.
