Chaos Orks was "generally" removed (When I say Generally, it's because you know how some people take it Lore true and some don't). Chaos Orks is all the way back in 2nd edition and that was the end of Chaos Orks. They simply don't get inflicted by chaos in any way. They did exist though and it would be nice to see a Daemon Ork Prince Warlord, like a goddamn Primarch or something. Imagine Ghazghkull turning into a Daemon Prince, blessed by all four gods. He already has Gork and Morks blessing. Would be Primarch Warmaster level.

But i'z still tinkin' 'bout dat spikey boy! Git out ya' runt! Green is da' meanest, strongest and best!
We'z da Orkz and you iz not!

I don't recall where it was originally drawn from but that Plague Ork illustration (and another) is found in the Daemonhunter Codex of 3e. It's ... very gimmicky. That Codex tried to inject a reason for the GK to fight each race, before they realized that TT players just weren't that picky about the GK's strict combat policies. We have games where Nids fight Nids of the same Hivefleet and SoB fighting Deathwatch/LotD ffs but apparently the GK were to precious to leave the controversial reasoning behind their appearance on a certain battlefield up to the players :p

Anyway whether it's been retconned or not, among the reasons given for Orks incurring the wraith of the Ordo Malleus were:
    • The Ork Warboss has been possessed.
    • The Orks discovered a temple of Nurgle and mistook him for Gork &/or Mork. Nurgle, being the lovable bag of ebola farts that he is, took the willing gitz under his slimy wing and corrupted them ... all night long.
Make of that what you will. I like the Nurgle explanation.

I still admit not knowing how the feck that works though: Orks are psychically attuned but not Warp-sensitive in the slightest so the likelihood of them being corrupted passively is somewhat odd. They also don't have 'desires' in the same way as most sentient races and certainly nothing that is outside the purview of Gork & Mork. Why follow Khorne if G&M have less rules and better skin tone ? Although he seems to be enamored with their engineered fury, in the case of Daemon-Killa but the same goes for the World Eaters and he warped them, not so the Orks. At least Grandfather Nurgle has some nuance, patience and a semi-Orky sense of humor o_O

This is the most orky response I've ever read, obviously translated though from true ork-speak. You've made it clear that Chaos can never be as orky as mork and gork. Well, can we at least be best friends, orks and Chaos? We can dance and sing and kill each other and kill loyalists and then kill each other with loyalist converted weapons! Oh, and then we can kill the pansy eldar and take their jet bikes into a massive demolition derby!
