I mean, Banshee problems are mostly Eldar problems. But the SS Aspect are most likely going to be getting their PF equivalent before Banshee's get any tuning/tweaking/new content. And that's after the devs make SM/CSM feel like deities in combat, and add in more weapons for them/buttloads of new appearance options for them/Orks, before anyone looks at the Eldar. I noticed this a long time ago, but I don't think there's many (If any) people at bEhaviour who like Eldar/play Eldar frequently/take the time to actually learn about them. So I personally am not surprised at the seemingly sloppy job that's been done for most (If not all) of the faction. Back on topic, Banshee's (And other Eldar) still don't have their dodge attack in yet. The Banshee sprint attack pretty much stuns you, and there is absolutely no sense of agility in the entire class. (Unless you go with +2 stamina and stack as much stamina regen as possible). The entire Eldar faction are also extremely clunky when falling, but this is even more noticeable on Banshee's, who drop and stand there for 2-3 seconds doing nothing, even if you flip off and fall a couple of feet, you're still pseudo-stunned.
Banshees, Warlocks and Scorpions all have a few advantages against me as an Ork player; 1. They OHK with a single normal attack to the back, this is relatively easy to achieve given your mobility. 2. Since you use primarily swords, your swings often don't clang and just damage me through my weapon. 3. Your strong attack takes milliseconds to charge and is way too fast. It can currently break RPS in my opinion. I have been chain stunned by scorpion strong attacks quite a few times the last week.
The strong attack isn't that much shorter than a space marines. Also OHK to the back with a normal attack is impossible. They only deal 113 damage, with Banshee scream its like a 50% bonus, so that's around 165-ish damage. Unless you were low, then that cannot happen. Lastly, please don't bring bugs into a balance discussion, if we nerf them more now, then when bugs are fixed they will suck that much more.
I believe the rear attack to an Ork does 200% or an additional 200% damage, because, yknow, Orks. It is definitely possible, I saw it many times yesterday and I had full health at the time. Your strong attack is too short, it breaks RPS. Being "not much shorter than a Space Marines" is not an excuse.
I humbly accepted the fact that Eldar are no more than slender clumsy recolored copy-pasted figures pew-pewing here and there, with absolutely no lore entourage, but please dont make them even worse than they are already. I clearly understand that space marines and orks attract the absolute majority of players and hence these players generate greatest amounts of incomes and thus Eldar will always have the lowest priority in development and improvement, but again, dont take away from us what you've already given
People did note that it's the only strong attack that can be interrupted mid attack after it finishes meaning they technically have about the same interrupt time or possibly more than a marine, also they cover slightly less distance from a strong attack than a Marine meaning they have to be closer while being less durable (I don't test but just a thought also we don't get plasma pistols or the variety of sluggas that Orks get which makes Banshee melee even weaker)
But you know what we do get? Combat hairdryers!! Now we can all look fabulous as we get mowed down by people screaming how imbalanced the Eldar are, without thinking about anything.
