Why isn't progression Faction wide?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Setzaroth, Apr 15, 2017.

  1. Low level isnt limiting or a disadvantage. I recently started my eldar again after EA so i was rank 1. Played 3 games and was top player.

You gather XP wit your experience and knowledge about situations and weapons, not with shiny guns.
  2. My question is why should a new character have access to everything.

Love how everyone's jumping on the grind when the main complaint is the shared progression, even the title says so.

Soon™ you'll be able to change your characters sub faction. This solves the issue for anyone who wants to switch sub-faction but doesn't want to level a new character.

  5. why would you even make multiple characters of the same faction though. Just pick your favorite color the first time.

Maybe you find a guild that you get along with but they are sub faction X only?

I would just like to point out that there is 4 characters slots. And there is 4 races. Did you seriously wasted one just for a change of colour of your LSM ? Because actually there is not that much customisation difference (eexcept for Orks) that is worth creating twice the same race.
Also I remembered a post long ago that asked if it was possible by contacting the support to change your subfaction, and they did change it.
  8. iz diz some beaky-only fing? Neva heard'a klan loik dat
  9. I think you might have missed the point of the OP. I'm not complaining about the fact that you have to level up a character. I'm saying you shouldn't have to do it for each character in a sub faction because they're identical.
  10. A new character of the same sub faction that has already progressed substantially. I already explained why.
