Actually thre is one FPS game\mod where you can see all Wh40k races with all units - Operation Flashpoint 1 Wh40k mod but it's not an official full product, just a mod (a great one tho). View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Salpx4xOsbw Well, ofc you can try to inform ppl however I still claim it's not your job since you don't get paid for this, BHVR has ppl for that. And this is where we will never agree; yes, I think that game studios should make their customers happy like any other producers, especially when they take money for their product in advance. Ofc they DON'T HAVE TO DO IT, we can't force then, can we? What we can do tho is stop playing the game and paying anymore money - and that's what is actually happening, I hope BHVR workers and their families will enjoy their product .
Sounds old, I'm sure that if bloodbowl can get a remake then I'm sure WoHammu fowtykeh desu: battelu supah destroyah Ultura sisteroh ovu battelu can as well
Seen it. But it's not official, so it doesn't count as GW. I am not disagreeing with you though. It's just Space Marines are safe and easy money.
Well that's an estimate I suppose. The real question is, can the game survive three years before it can live up to all this potential it's supposed to have? Because if the first month post Beta launch is any indication, for EC to have any shot of keeping the servers running into 2017 there will need to be tangible improvement in pretty much all aspects of the game before it's reputation gets any worse and the few remaining players move on to greener pastures. Unless of course the console release turns out to be the game changer some people seem to think it will be. Somehow I doubt that, but I guess we'll see soon enough.
I wouldn't go that far.. They still have to negotiate with the other factions of the Imperium, like nosy Inquisitors, stingy Adeptus Mechanicus envoys, Rogue Traders setting them up with phat archeotech, morbidly depressed PDF generals, morbidly grim Imperial Guard.. whoops I meant Astra Militarum Warmasters, and so on and so forth. The Imperium is made of a wide, wild cast of individuals and ultimately the Space Marines can't go on shooting and bullying their way through every meeting. And those that do tend to become ostracized and considered borderline heretical.
Unless of course you paint your armor black and white and ignore the codex astartes on the grounds of being on an "Eternal Crusade"
It's peer to peer knowledge, had it been better implemented earlier more people would have seen through what the EC twitches were saying and had a real value to assign the game. If I'm buying something I don't know about, I look for peer reviews. It is a consumer practice I advocate. There, right there. You've nailed it. You can stop paying anymore money. We as a collective consumer base have all the power. We could stop pre-orders, restricted content, and pay-to-play DLCs if we stopped supporting them. It won't happen, because the mass consumer trend is "buy buy buy" but the power is there. The power is not to hold them accountable (we can't), the power is to starve them until they do what we want. @LucasDominus also a happy place to end. All I can recommend is not being emotionally invested. There is a changing trend in how consumers use content (which would be a long boring paragraph) suffice to say I don't know.
Batman-style interrogation! "WHERE ARE THEY!?" *grabs heretic, slams him against wall, then holds him over a 500ft drop* "T-they're in the.. the Chulux Refinery! I-I swear to Tzeentch!" "SWEAR TO THE GOD-EMPEROR!" *drops heretic*
