As much as everything you said is true almost all the defensive items past 150 LP(some 150's are crud too) save a very few exceptions when in reference to armor and defense are LP inefficient as hell ... and bad buys .... CSM might be suffering slightly less because they have some LP efficient choices for most slots .... but it doesnt change the fact that thier amor pound for pound is pretty much as LP inefficient as LSM's(prepatch) is ..... chaos may not NEED the buff to compete due to the aforementioned slightly more LP efficient options ... but i dont see it having as much an impact on chaos's power as LSM's power, since CSM already had a few closet cases of LP efficiency they could field ... now they will just have more than one or 2 choices to get the job done .... where as LSM are finally getting some choices at all that would be considered LP efficient(the new tactical 150 lp item is very LP inefficient), which will have a greater effect on them vs CSM by making the LP you sink into armor slot closer to LP efficient.
So looking at the world map now, I feel as though my original post is right on the money. Now CSM are dominating all factions and quite strongly. Not to mention SM, and thats including the heal nade. I know, peeps are prolly going to say wait for the grav guns, though I really don't think those will help to much in their case. So wasn't this buff's main objective to help improve SM? So then I gotta say, what the devs did was pretty much on par to what I suspected was going to happen. So CSM have gone from a very close 3rd and 2nd place to dominating very strongly against all factions. I'm not saying nerf CSM, but I am saying I don't think they needed the armor buff, and the devs could have easily created flavor text to that end.
Well actually I said all this before Chaos got buffed, and I'm saying it appears to be justified. So yes, in this particular case I asking for that specific buff to be reversed as it was not needed.
Actually no, CSM and LSM do not have the same gear. For example the armours that CSM can get are cheaper but slightly weaker. This is made up for by the marks and warp fuckery flavour, so that argument can really go and suck a squig.
Weaker and cheaper, but supplemented by marks. While an LSM would spend more on an individual item, a CSM would spend less on more items and actually get better value for their LP considering how the wargear and armour Stats/LP ratio works at the moment. It's the reason why the higher tier items are rarely used because the more you spend on an individual item the less you get out of it for your LP. So in fact no, it does not make him even more wrong.
You mean the Tac wargear? Yeah they have MoN which is the "Big Armor" piece equivalent so...no clue what you are talking about.
