Why fits will still broken in next patch?

    I dont want buf him. I just want that they dont touch his melee damage.

    I disagree on the premise that a lot of Orky things haven't been tried yet. For example the Painboy honestly could have the most vials in the game that all do different things. In fact I personally see no reason why the Painboy can't "multi-vial"and carry 2 different types with him.

    Also, as suggested by a friend of mine, there's a lot of options in the vials left unexplored. One example would be to juice Orks up to have them explode when they would be downed. (Think a grenade mixed with the Pink Mist effect) This would make WAGGHH more effective and have Stormboyz be popular as living weapons which Orkz quite literally are in some cases. There could be multiple versions of this. Posion being one of them. A HoT effect, or even Lifesteal or the 'Xplody Juice for the remaining Orks around them since juicing an entire team of Orks can be quite tedious when they like to run into combat. A similar HoT grenade that just applies whatever effect their vial has would be nifty as well since most players won't wait for you.

    Additionally I think of the Painboy as a sort of doomsday preper. In fact he's a lot like the Runepriest from WAR where he wants to buff/set up people BEFORE combat begins in most cases. Some buffs may even require a player to perform a warshout to activate. Another example would be setting melee weapons on fire or adding DoTs to them since these effects seems to be a theme for the Orks. Napalm, Burny Choppas, Burny Syringe, [buff = burny grenades] or Poison Grenades, Syringes, and Sicky Shootas [buff = poison choppa]. Or maybe he can grant other players more grenades. Or a haste serum that increases reload speed dramatically for more dakka. All these effects help the Orks dramatically and could help the painboy themselves. But all of these things aren't necessarily going to help them out in combat if they didn't prepare for it in advance. It's too late to really do anything durring the fight, cus everyone's fightin! I think more mechanics like this would really help.

  3. For whatever reason the fist lunge attack actually seems to work more often than with swords and axes. So I think the perception that Fist attack ranges are too long is in fact a misperception because lunge and evade attacks fail so often with swords, axes and mauls. So we're so used to seeing the broken lunge attack with swords, where we just stop running, stand there and think about it, then finally swing instead of the "insta" lunge attack.

    FYI lunge and evade attacks have been broken for almost a year.

    There's also the fact that the fist must in fact cover a bit more ground with each attack or we'd never, ever, EVER have a chance to hit an opponent because of the extremely slow speed of the fist.

    So the Power Fist / Klaw currently has the potential to OHK, mostly from behind but also from the front if your enemy is particularly inept at evading. Once the Strong Attack is in motion it is extremely easy to avoid as you cant change its trajectory.

    And this is going to change so that Fist / Klaw cant OHK, I'd hope in this case its agility and ability to change direction mid swing would be a thing otherwise this weapon would become completely ineffective at defending while up close and personal in Melee combat when taking out AV that has occupants in it ready to exit and take you out.

    Yet its somehow ok for the Laz Cannon / Plasma Cannon and nearly every other heavy long range weapon in game to be able to do this from the safety of half way across the zone not needing to defend themselves as much as Melee who are in the thick of it as AV (some weapons like the AC may as well be considered as OHK as the TTK is so low).

    On the other hand the only time its safe to *Try* and get that OHK with a Fist / Klaw is from behind with your target unaware of your presence which feels cheap. all other times its mostly suicide. From the front there's some semblance of honour felt as mostly its suicide due to the ultra long wind up and inaccurate non maneuverable slow trajectory.

    So if its ok for one high dps weapon to OHK it should be ok for all surely. I dont know I'm torn on this. I want the fist / klaw to be more manageable as currently its unpredictable so I would be happy for a dps nerf in favour of more control. As you can see I'm torn on this lol.

    I would love to see the painboy usefull , new vials could be cool but explosions on death? why? a greanade that applies vials effect ... yeah sure could be cool if he doenst have OP vials activated , A vial that applies dot affect to a guy's weapon ? oh god no ... people cry about burny choppa , with the uat changes how do you think they will like an electrified axe with flame ? we already have the warpthrist axe that one shots from front , dont make every ork weapons do the same
    But yeah why giving new tools to painboy unless its too powerfull , ork are already the best faction in game

    I'm kinda leaning towards leave it slow/awkward and make it hit like a freight train. If that gets taken away what will set it apart from the other melee weapons. Plus I think doing less damage would make it worse and more risky for killing tanks unless its overall speed was increased to compensate for its loss in destructive power.

    Offensive healer?how so?you run out of ammo in 10seconds and you have ranged level Dbash so melee isn't an option either.

    Never seen anybody die to poison bombs in all my time playing.Tell A lie I died to it once testing the poison treatment item.
    Also the area denial aspect of them is also questionable at best since anyone who isn't stupid will just roll through it.

    The melee lifesteal vile is also pretty useless for you and your team.Personally if I see a painboy with the loadout you suggest I just assume hes new or doing it for lols.
