It's kind of a joke that the fist beats the fastest of the rest of the weapon? When exactly the same klaw beats at a normal speed of 0.9.
Why do you want to reduce the damage of it? 10-08-2017 00-54-33.png When you just need to fix the attack speed!

And why need to nerf doc? It's weakest suport in game and you nerf his melee potential! And bufs warloc and sorcs, classes what already have wey magic shit. WHY bE WHY?

    A) The Powerfist is an AV-weapon. I know there is controversy in the community regarding this issue and some would like to see it as a viable melee-weapon, but i dont believe, this is the intention of the devs.
In the long term, I believe the power-fist will become primarely AV and they will follow their plans, giving the possessed a different weapon.
In the past i would have said its a design-decision, as high-damage or OHK weapons are hard to balance, so rather make them underpowered than overpowered, but in the light of the UAT-changes, its probably something else.
With that being said, @Jencent on UAT today still ruled with the powerfist, even rivaled by elite players with supposedly stronger weapons, so it cant be completely impossible to succed with it.

    B) The Painboy is not the weakest support. In fact (assuming the stats presented on the stream are somewhat representative) they win almost half(49.x%) their engagements with current melee classes, with only the Scorpion dragging the statistic down significantly. That was before the Debash-change tho.
They were also on par with the Apothecary for winrate, with Warlock and Aspiring Sorcerer being lightyears behind.
Granted, I dont know, how good the Painboy is as an actual Support, I know some peoplec omplained about it.

What's what i saying. Speed of Fist sprint atack its ridiculous fast. Its faster than sword. Yes reducing the damage is good, but it does not solve the problem of the fact that this atack can not be clang`t.

And when wey nerf his damage. The question is why the apothecary has a bolter and he can change his nerft narthecium for a chain sword, and the doctor has only his nerft Urty Syrine.

How do you think, after the damage to his main weapon is done less than a knife, will it still be successful in melee?

What ? jencent was doig nothing with his fist , it was too nerfed to be effective it's just a pain for the allies

ROFL he is the weakeest support by FAR , currently on uat narthecium/seringe are the weakest weapons in the game because they are bugged , they dont do backstab bonus damage and are knife tier , its pure garbage , and orks dont need healer

They are absolute trash as a support. They are mostly propped up as a so so fighter because of Orks decent wargear1 options and decent pistols. You can run a Painboy with an Iron Gob, upgraded armor of some sort for 140 or 150 toughness and realistic armor and health stats combined with Orks naturally reduced headshot damage means they are pretty durable especially by support standards who are otherwise pretty squishy save maybe Nurgle Sorcs.

The problems with the painboy are entirely based around the fact as an actual healer doing healer like activities he blows an enough amount of dick. He has 3 vials; basic vial with small hot, bigger vial with longer small hot, and a melee life steal vial with no hot. Compare that to the apothecary which has the same 2 hot vials both a big and small, a damage reduction vial, and a melee damage buff vial (which is much more useful than life steal).
Then you have his grenade slot, where as the apothecary has great healing nades with the long lasting beacon or the short duration but super strong medicae nade. Comparatively the painboys "dokbomb" is like a strictly worse apothecary beacon being bigger (so easier to destroy), and harder to place (because its bigger so it gets stuck on ledges easier and has less throwing range). The other option is to take poison cloud bombs, of which there is a bundle and a single, but they work off a charge system and even if you take the bundle you can only ever have one up at a time so why take the 300pt bundle ever!? They are also teamkill magnets, can be destroyed by enemies, and have similar issues to the dokbomb about getting caught/stuck on ledges as they throw weird and stick to the first surface they hit.

They fact they are stuck with a pistol while apoths can take a bolter, chainsword, or a nathecium that is equivalent to a chainsword while also being strictly inferior healers just makes the Painboy feel like utter shit to play as a healer.

Playing a Sorc with a healing beam on a big tanky nurgle guy feels alright its like playing a discount TF2 medic with more melee power. Playing a Warlock with enhance actually has you buffing your allies and tossing out heals like a healer/support should. Playing an Apoth is like playing godmode nearly with a real weapon and a great double healing suite of healing nade + vials with nice buffs on the vials. Playing painboy is like playing a gimpy slugga boy that can res people better.
I'm not saying Sorcs and Warlocks are in great positions, so much as when you play them you actually feel like a healer, you are actually doing healer/support activities and if that is your thing it feels alright especially if you have a few good players to work with and keep up. You don't ever get that experience as a Painboy.

To put it another way the Painboy as a class is carried by Orks strengths as a whole, but as an individual healer they are bad. If Orks as a race actually needed a good strong support like LSM or Eldar do the Painboy would be an utter failure, as it stands they just feel very unrewarding and uninteresting to play but work "ok" not because they are good, but because the rest of the faction can carry there weaknesses.

So, for the Records my Orky friends: Are you complaining because the Painboy is a weak fighter or a weak support? Because I am getting mixed messages here.
Or is it maybe that they are currently a decent fighter, and if you took that away they would have nothing left?
Would be interesting tho, what you'd rather have:
    -Good Melee
    -A Rifle
    -Support capabilities
It is not my job to decide, what the class needs, I lack experience with the class for that, all I know is that, statistically, they could be doing worse in the offensive role.
I'd argue that the Aspiring Sorcerer is about on the same level of general usefullness, with a stronger affinity towards the pocket-healer role, Apothecary the undisputed ruler of supports, and Warlock somewhere in between.
However, thats just my two cents on the issue and dont project your frustration of your class on me for quoting statistics.

However, back to the main issue at hand @Krayt http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/uat-testing-playing-with-devs.65112/page-63#post-1539608
Once again: I am not saying that the powerfist is fine, I am just putting out some anecdotal evidence to prove that it, appearently, still works in some way.

Well fists still bypass dbash with the first 0.5 sec of their fast attack so it might still be ok if the dbash immunity is not fixed
  10. TGM Jencent Arch-Cardinal

I played last UAT games without "bypass dbash with the first 0.5". Why? I think it is not fair.
And i had 200~ ping who not allowed me to play at full potential.
